#pacificrim since raleigh is canonically alive in the comics and survived his radiation poisoning by his DNA mutating i headcanon he was still undergoing treatment in the hospital when he saw news of her death on TV & then proceeded to go into isolation once he healed. . ok is this too sad should I shut up #pacificrimedit #makomori #raleighbecket #angstedit // @G Danger 🧡|🔻 @𝐈𝐒𝐀 @ᰔ٭𝒹ₐᵢₙₑᵧ @A ☆ @✧ 𝐑𝐘 ᛑᛗᛛ @Diana @banshorn @bullsshy @Spatch! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @SweetKarma

raleigh spent so long grieving yancy he never learned how to actually grieve himself... wait who said that😭😭 no but seriously, when raleigh's looking at that picture of him and yancy on the wall you can tell he's only looking at his brother because his eyes are going to the left; even if yancy miraculously came back right then, there's no possibility of raleigh ever magically reverting back to his old self... thus mako helping him learn to love who he is and who he *could* be by showing him that there is something beyond his endless cycle of guilt and grief. #pacificrim #tumblr #tumblrpost #raleighbecket #makomori [yancy becket, stacker pentecost] // @A ☆ @𝐈𝐒𝐀 @✧ 𝐑𝐘 ᛑᛗᛛ @Diana @ᰔ٭𝒹ₐᵢₙₑᵧ @G Danger 🧡|🔻 @Spatch! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @SweetKarma

bit of a personal note, but i hate how a specific side of the fandom infantilizes Chuck and his backstory with Herc... people need to realize at the end of the day he's still a grown adult and his tragic past doesn't justify how he treats other people— that doesn't change the fact that his anger *is* a product of Herc's abandonment of him, though. I think Herc and Chuck's failed father-son dynamic is very interesting to look at when you realize that, should Chuck have miraculously lived after Pitfall, they would've kept each other at an arm's length, anyway. It irks me when people automatically think everything was fine between them in AUs where Chuck lives, because it'd be the exact opposite😭 I have a lot of things to critique with how almost everyone in this movie is mischaracterized though so I'm gonna stop being a negative nancy lmfao #pacificrim #pacificrimedit #chuckhansen #raleighbecket #arkpatrol // @A ☆ @𝐈𝐒𝐀 @✧ 𝐑𝐘 ᛑᛗᛛ @Citlalli @Diana @G Danger 🧡|🔻 @ᰔ٭𝒹ₐᵢₙₑᵧ @Spatch! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @banshorn @SweetKarma
