Little brown Trout Action. Typically when you turn a fish, that’s the last time you’re gonna see it for a few hours. This old bugger had other plans. He was hungry. He was fierce and he absolutely annihilated the streamer. This fish went after it multiple times it’s times like this when you rethink only casting One to three times in specific spots with a streamer. Boy, I love me some aggressive, brownies. #fly #utah #fish #fishing #enjoy

Me and my brother-in-law were exploring some new waters. Very small waters somewhere near Strawberry Reservoir in Utah. If you’re familiar with the pinnacles, this is the area we were fishing. We were scouting the river and finding lots of small cutthroats and rainbows but nothing crazy. We kept driving and driving and we got up to a fence where we couldn’t drive anymore so we decided to hike a little bit. I was doubting that there was any fish in the river. My brother-in-law didn’t have polarized glasses on, so I let him borrow my polarized glasses and started fishing upstream from him about 30 yards from where I was telling him I thought there might be fish. I found a nice little spot on the bank in front of a tree, casted out blindly and saw this fish flash and almost jump out of the river on my Streamer. I recasted twitched it back where he flashed and sure enough he latched right onto it 3 feet away from me… Absolutely stunning. He completely caught me off guard and I had to jump into the river and chase him down stream so I didn’t lose him. Epic fish this was I was very excited. ##fish##fishing##utah##browntrout##flyfishing##river##stream##outdoors##wildlife##storytime

Crystal Clear water. This beast of a brown shot out from behind a massive boulder 3 feet in front of me almost knocking me off my feet in excitement. I pointed the tip of my rod down, stripped some line and put some action on the streamer and watched him absolutely annihilate it right in front of me. Something I will never forget. #flyfishing#browntrout#outdoors##nature#fishing#sage#simmsfishing#trout#river#fishing #fish
