Women in the healing and spiritual space get stuck in cycles of love because they're so attached to the story. "They're my twin flame."  "They're my lover from a past life."  "It's a soul contract." ... Respectfully, its 2026.  We don't live in the dark ages anymore. Just because they avenged your honour back in 1432 and you rode off into the sunset together to be hand fasted in the woods,  does NOT mean that they get a free pass for the mental anguish and emotional roller coaster their hot and cold and push and pull behaviour put you through in this current lifetime. Here's how you know you're chasing the story and not the person: - You explain their behaviour with the past life instead of looking at it as it is. - You're more attached to what the label means than to who they actually are. - You trust the feeling of intensity over the evidence. Babe, your nervous system is lighting up like fireworks everytime you think or hear from them because it's screaming for YOUR attention.  YOUR validation.  YOUR safety.  YOUR reassurance. YOUR approval. YOUR LOVE.  Them running away from the connection is mirroring back to you every which way you've been running away from yourself.  The twinflame journey is about union to SELF. Not with someone who leaves you more activated and questioning your sanity.  That's not Love.  Just because your souls recognise each other, that doesn't mean you're chosen.  Just because it's intense and passionate, doesn't mean that's love.  Just because you feel the pull of their energy, doesn't mean it's proof you're meant to be together.  The past life story can tell you why you're drawn to someone. Never have I ever met a woman who didn't take it upon herself to lead her man into his own healing. Every single one of those men needed her more than she needed them. Every single one of those men lacked a wider community of integrated men to hold them accountable. Every single one of those men was more concerned about losing her than hurting her. If he loved her, why would losing her be more painful than hurting her?
