What is treatment fidelity? Treatment fidelity, also known as procedure integrity, refers to the extent to which a intervention is implemented as designed. For example, suppose you develop a behaviour plan using a token economy. When the therapist implements the plan, you observe to ensure they're delivering tokens according to the criteria allowing exchange for backup reinforcers and providing those reinforcers exactly as specified. That is true fidelity.
