Golf horror movies, now showing 🎃 The Shank. Night of the Living Three-Putt. It Follows (your slice). The Lip Out. And the scariest, based on a true story: guessing how far to stand from the ball. Which one did you star in this year? @paul.matthew.lopez #golfimprovement #golfsetup #golfaddress #golfpractice #amateurgolf #golf #golfstance #golflife #golfdrills #golftips #clownoncourse #halloween

Four setup mistakes nobody tells beginners. We made all four. Same stance width for every club. Ball too far forward with an iron. Feet aimed at the flag instead of parallel to the line. Same distance from the ball with every club. Numbers in the video are from the app, for a six foot golfer. Yours will be different. advancedgolfaddress.com #golfdrills #golftips #golfstance #golf #amateurgolf #golflife #golfpractice #golfaddress #golfsetup #golfimprovement

Our QA process here at Wayside Foundry (Maker of Advanced Golf Address), as of this morning. Step one: ship the features. Step two: wait for feedback. Step three: threaten to delete the app. (No apps were harmed in the making of this video) @paul.matthew.lopez #golfimprovement #golfsetup #golfaddress #golfpractice #amateurgolf #golf #golfstance #golflife #golfdrills #golftips #clownoncourse #halloween #indiedev #instantgratification #HappySaturday #Feature #App

Things that haunt every golfer 🎃 The bunker. The putt that stops one inch short. The group behind you on the first tee, watching. And the scariest one nobody talks about: guessing how far to stand from the ball. Which one haunts you ? Wrong answers welcome. #golfimprovement #golfsetup #golfaddress #golfpractice #golflife #amateurgolf #golf #golfstance #golfdrills #golftips #clownoncourse #halloween @paul.matthew.lopez

Story time. That’s Paul, and he walks a wire for a living. Ten years in Vegas with Absinthe, and now in Florida with the Wallendas, the greatest family ever to do it. Where his feet go is not a feeling. It is a measurement, and it has to be, because there is no second attempt at it. Then he took up golf and asked the only question a person like that would ask. How far do I stand from the ball? Every answer was the same. You will feel it. Ask a second person and you get a different one. So a person who has never been allowed to guess at anything was being told to guess. We built him something that was not a feeling. Your height, your wrist to the floor, and the number is there. Stand in the same place and you make contact more often. Make contact more often and you are playing golf instead of fighting it. He is also the co-founder of Advanced Golf Address. That is why it exists. Send this to whoever told you that you would just feel it. advancedgolfaddress.com @paul.matthew.lopez #golfimprovement #golfsetup #golfaddress #golfpractice #golflife #amateurgolf #golf #golfstance #golfdrills #golftips #clownoncourse

Twenty setups. The same approach but different measurement for each club. That is the whole thing. Not a swing thought, not a drill you do for a week and then forget. The same two numbers before every ball, whatever club is in your hand and wherever it is sitting. It looks boring on video because it is boring. That is exactly why it works. advancedgolfaddress.com @paul.matthew.lopez #golfimprovement #golfsetup #golfaddress #golfpractice #golflife #amateurgolf #golf #golfstance #golfdrills #golftips

You are not aimed where you think you are. Almost nobody is, and nobody tells you because it is invisible from inside your own stance. Point the top edge at the target. Lock it. 212 degrees. Now your feet have something true to line up against instead of a feeling. advancedgolfaddress.com #golfdrills #golftips #golfstance #golf #amateurgolf #golflife #golfpractice #golfaddress #golfsetup #golfimprovement #driver

Golf is hard. That is not a complaint, it is just the deal you sign at the first tee. Everybody has a day like this one. The bunker. The putt that rims the cup and sits there looking at you. Some days nothing falls at all and you go home with nothing to show for four hours. Then one does. And that is apparently enough to get every one of us back out there next Saturday. Measure it. Address it. Hit it. advancedgolfaddress.com #golfimprovement #golfsetup #golfaddress #golfpractice #golflife #amateurgolf #golf #golfstance #golfdrills #golftips @paul.matthew.lopez

How far do you stand from the ball with a driver? Most golfers have never been given a number, so they guess, and the guess changes every round. The app gives you one. 37.7 inches from the ball. 22.4 inch stance. For your height, for that club. Measure it. Address it. Hit it. advancedgolfaddress.com #golftips #golfsetup #golfaddress #golfstance #driver#golf #golfpractice #amateurgolf #golfimprovement

Three things. In this order. Every time. Measure it. Address it. Hit it. That is the whole app. We are not going to fix your swing, because we cannot, and anyone who says they can over a phone is selling you something. We can tell you where to stand. advancedgolfaddress.com #golfdrills #golftips #golfstance #golf #amateurgolf #golflife #golfpractice #golfaddress #golfsetup #golfimprovement

The whole app in ten seconds. Where to stand. What is in your bag. The two tape method for checking it at home. Which club for the distance. Where you are actually aimed, which is never where you think. No swing tips, no lessons, no subscription to a coach. Just the setup, measured. advancedgolfaddress.com #golfdrills #golftips #golfstance #golf #amateurgolf #golflife #golfpractice #golfaddress #golfsetup #golfimprovement

Six balls. Two flush. That is 33 percent, and it is a number, not a feeling. Heel, flush, toe. Tap where it actually hit, not where you think it hit, because your memory of a shot is written about half a second after the shot. Six more tomorrow and you will know if anything changed. advancedgolfaddress.com #golfdrills #golftips #golfstance #golf #amateurgolf #golflife #golfpractice #golfaddress #golfsetup #golfimprovement

Two clubs in your bag go the same distance. One of them is dead weight and you are still carrying it. A 15 yard gap here. A 25 yard gap there, which is exactly where a gap wedge lives and exactly the shot you keep having to invent. The app lays the whole bag out so you can see it. advancedgolfaddress.com #golfdrills #golftips #golfstance #golf #amateurgolf #golflife #golfpractice #golfaddress #golfsetup #golfimprovement

Two tape measures and a carpet. You can do this tonight without leaving the house. Grip butt on the ankle line. Stance middle to middle, not edge to edge. That is the part most people get wrong. Do it once and the number is actually yours. Hole 11 at Brackenridge Park. Whole group on one card, gross and to par, no pencil and no arguing about it on the 12th tee. Four players, one card, and it adds itself up. Nobody has to remember what happened on the sixth. You keep your own card without stopping to do arithmetic, and the round is still there when you want to know what actually happened. advancedgolfaddress.com@@ #golf #golftips #golfscorecard #golfapp #brackenridgepark #golfer #municipalgolf #golfimprovement #amateurgolf #golflife

Last hole of the day, last of the light, and the one putt that behaved. We built an app that measures where you stand before every shot, because we could not be trusted to eyeball it. Five screens, one job: tell you where to stand before you swing. Where to stand for every club, where you are aimed, the gaps in your bag, where every ball is hitting, and the Two Tape Method. Link in bio. #golftok #golfapp #golf #golftips #golftech

Three things before you hit it. How far you are standing from the ball, where the ball sits in your stance, and where you are actually aimed. That is the whole tee box checklist. It takes about five seconds and it is the only part of the golf swing you get to decide before anything goes wrong. Everybody practices the swing. Almost nobody practices the three things that come before it. Run them in order, then send it. Link in bio. #clownoncourse #golftok #golf #golfswing #golftips #golfsetup
