The weight lifting arm prosthesis was fabricated by @fabcodesigns - it features @fillauer TRS black iron master terminal device (weight rated up to 1650 lbs!) & omega wrist. Suspension is maintained through a bulldog pin lock in combination with @clickmedical designs adjustable socket technology. Practitioner Macy’s Patient Quinn trialing the hero arm with the help of hero arm’s app “Sidekick.” The Sidekick app picks up Quinn’s muscle signals and allows her to use the arm efficiently! This app also tracks progress- like mastering grip patterns, and daily/hourly usage of device. It even provides training videos teaching patients how to use the arm for different day to day activites! Quinn ordered her own custom Hero Arm and we cannot wait to deliver it to her. 🦾
