If you plant marigolds in the spring, this could be you next October! #marigolds #flowergarden

Four and a half years ago, the very fabric of the universe seemed to split open and want to swallow Austin and me whole. In a good way, but in the most stomach turning, breath stealing way that can only happen when every power that be is telling you that you have to make a life altering decision, or else shrink back into a life that’s not right. We both had to end something in order to be together. We both chose to forge a new path into the unknown together. It might sound dramatic to some, but if you know…. You know.

Here’s how we built our goat barn! (Described in Sarah’s very proper construction terminology) -leveled the earth and made a 12x12’ square with four concrete footings, 4x4”s to frame the square -built the walls and framed it with 2x4”s -attached the rafters - used T1-11 siding for the walls and OSB for the roof, plus metal roofing -did some masonry at the base with creek stones and concrete #diyfarm #goatbarn #diybuild
