I don’t think I’ve tasted a sandwich quite this fresh… and this is coming from someone who doesn’t usually like cold cut sandwiches. Would definitely recommend if you’re going. Also a pre-cursor to my Euro summer this year with the stunning ambiance (I think the ambiance is really what made it top restaurants but food was still really good too). Shishito peppers (8/10) creamy with a bit of a bitter char. Octopus (8.5/10) very tangy and fresh, good texture. Antipasto board (8.5/10) I love picking at little bits. They got rid of my favourite thing everrrr: their breakfast sausage muffin. Last time we ate that cold on a hike and it was still so delicious despite it being cold. Got dragged out to Saul’s way back to try their frozen matcha but safe to say it’s just another western business trying to hop on the matcha bandwagon. No hate though because Saul’s is usually pretty good, just very underwhelming on this day. Frozen Matcha 6/10 Didn’t taste like matcha whatsoever - moreso a sweet vanilla thickshake. Wasn’t bad at all, just need to adjust expectations if that’s what you get. Frozen Coffee 8/10 Quite scrumptious would get again if I was in the area Hot Glaze Chicken 7/10 Flavour was good but the chicken was a bit soggy from the sauce. Brisket Muffin 8/10 I’m just biased because I like breakfast muffins a lot so for me to rate it badly, there must be something really wrong. Pretty delicious. God the shaky hands get me. Love a good warehouse cafe though. Food was 7.5/10 - carbonara was quite delicious, wagyu bulgogi sando was way too sweet (would not get again) and monte cristo was pretty good, a little rich but maybe we just ordered too much. Day #30 WOO we made it to day 30!
