Eight months ago Monte and I had one of our virtual vision board classes, and I poured my heart (and a whole lot of glue!) into my vision board, dedicated to the success of our three beautiful new books that came out and will be coming out this year with the amazing @insighteditions! Had fun playing some of my original songs live after many many years and was a little rusty but it was all good vibes thanks to the open mic night at Caps in Montauk hosted by our dear friend @Diane Ferraro and Patty and many talented musicians also performed, highlighted by Greg and our pal Pete Le Ber. And thanks to Huck Esposito who was there supporting, he owned Snuggler’s Cove in the 70’s where I started playing with my robot Roland. lol!

This is my first big tapestry, 4’ x 6’ - done in 1974, based on the planet Pluto, because I had been studying astrology for three years, and was very inspired by the archetypes of the planets. Monte said that when he met me in 1974, he was studying me, so he had to study astrology. I think Pluto is very symbolic of my first piece because it represents transformation. I feel that my work is very involved with bringing secrets to the surface and the superconscious, those deep undercurrents that are always hidden but glistening. The first piece is interesting because it was made where the light would come through the figure, reflecting from a murky pool; it’s very kind of raw and abstract.
