I know it sounds ridiculous, but the first time I was introduced to @dollyparton was as Truvy in Steel Magnolias. I thought she was one of the prettiest women I’d ever seen. When I finally figured out she was also sort of famous for her music, I fell even deeper in awe. Every bit I’ve learned about Dolly over years made me love her even more. She was undeniable an artist through and through. She gave back. She was obsessed with the work. And I admire she wasn’t afraid to merchandise everything from cake mixes to lingerie. Okay may she didn’t make it to underwear, but I sure would have bought a Dolly Parton brazier. It was an incredible honor to be a grain of sand in her ocean of work. I loved every minute of growing the @thevinylab, and getting to orchestrate assembly and distribution of several hundred thousand box sets of Dolly’s record were some of my favorite days on this earth. All of those amazing people working together to make something great happen, was a testament to the community and comraderie this woman will always inspire. We will always love YOU @dollyparton. Than you 🙏🤍🦋

If you were there on Monday night June 8th I hope you see this ❤️

Sickness got my voice again, but let’s heal it 💪 8 cups cold filtered water 1 handful dried hibiscus flowers Steep tea overnight in fridge. Strain out flowers. Put small amount of tea in blender with: 1” fresh peeled ginger Handful mint leaves 1 tsp Indian gooseberry powder (Amla powder) Date syrup to taste Blend, strain again into rest of the tea. Stir and enjoy!

What an easy decision 😆
