Did you know that Jin Woo became a detective, and he's actually pretty good at it? While talking with his fellow detectives, Jin Woo heard a woman desperately insisting that her daughter was not the kind of person who would take her own life. Even though the police had already ruled it a suicide, Jin Woo decided to investigate the case himself. He went to the victim's apartment and extracted her shadow from the traces of her blood. Then, he asked if she had really taken her own life. She answered yes and revealed the reason why. Jinwoo then confronted the man, who claimed to be her father. At first, he pretended to be devastated, but jinwoo played an audio recording that instantly changed his expression. The recording exposed the truth. The man had abused and beaten the girl for years, forcing her to run away. When she realized he had found her again, she lost all hope and chose to end her life. Without saying another word, jinwoo took his life. Afterward, the girl's shadow thanked jinwoo for helping her take revenge, then asked him for one final favor. The next morning, jinwoo delivered a birthday gift to the girl's mother. When she opened it, she found a message that read happy Birthday, mom.
