Nagsimula ako sa paniniwalang isang hakbang lang ang pagitan ko at ng pangarap kong lumipad. Pero imbes na cabin, naging ground attendant ako. At noong akala ko doon na ako mananatili, at mas magiging malapit, bigla na namang nagbago ang direksyon ng buhay ko, dinala ako sa harap ng camera. Hindi ko inasahan. Hindi ko rin agad natanggap. May mga gabing tahimik lang akong umiiyak. Bitbit ang mga tanong na paulit-ulit bumabalik: “Bakit hindi pa rin ako nandiyan?” “Saan ba talaga ako papunta?” Habang tumatagal, mas lalo kong nararamdaman na parang lumalayo ako sa pangarap na matagal ko nang ipinagdarasal. Nasaktan ako. Nadismaya ako sa sarili ko. At may mga panahong pakiramdam ko, naiwan na ako ng oras. Pero unti-unti kong natutunan na hindi lahat ng pagliko ay pagkaligaw. Minsan, kailangan mong mapunta sa ibang daan para makita kung sino ka talaga habang naghihintay ka sa pangarap mo. Almost 2 years rin ako sa industriya ng aviation, at kahit mahal ko ang trabaho ko noon, dumating ako sa punto na kailangan kong maghanap ng mas stable na trabaho, hindi lang para sa sarili ko, kundi para sa pamilya ko. Pero sa kabila ng lahat, naniniwala pa rin ako na balang araw, babalik ako sa kung saan talaga ako masaya. At sana, sa tamang panahon, matupad pa rin ang pangarap kong maging flight attendant. Sa ngayon, ine-enjoy ko muna ang harap ng camera. Natututo, lumalago, at patuloy na lumalaban. At kahit maraming beses akong nalihis, hindi kailanman nawala ang pangarap na tahimik kong ipinagdarasal. Dahil minsan, ang mga detour ang mismong naghahanda sa’yo para sa destinasyong mas matagal mong pinangarap. Kaya kung darating man ang araw na maisuot ko ang unipormeng matagal ko nang inaasam, hindi na lang ito magiging pangarap na natupad. Magiging patunay ito na kahit ilang beses kang mailihis, puwede ka pa ring makarating sa tamang dulo. Hindi pa ito ang wakas ng kwento ko.
