Here are some of my art pieces from over the past few months! I have definitely improved, and have gotten so many ideas throughout the cold months. A whole lot of animals, but that is the way I like it. Of not animals, then nature, and if not those then something I created that likely incorporates natural elements to it. Whether it is giving a dragon features of a cat, or creating a griffin based on a pigeon, the natural world and creatures are always on my mind. As I create, some of my art pieces are put on clothing, blankets, or dresses. I sometimes show those off here because I think putting it on an object may help prevent people from stealing my art, also to let people know in case they are interested in my art. In the online art world, our works are constantly being scraped by ai and stolen by others. So, anything that I can use, I intend to use to avoid mine from being taken. It is just part of being an artist these days but I love creating my work so I don't want to stop. I hope someday I will inspire others to create and/or find people who like my work. I intend to keep creating and to keep improving as I grow as an artist. As a gamer and an artist this year's Steam Nextfest was a bit of a let down to see. So much AI slop in the store and a lot less real art. I personally would rather have someone's stick figures and silly doodles than the AI slop. #nextfest #artist #gamers #art

Sometimes that's just how it is when you're making things. Testing out one thing or another thing and suddenly you realize that you don't know what you did but it turned out quite well. Perhaps one day you will figure out what was done to make it go well but for the time being you're clueless and that is okay. #art #artist

More of my Crime Scene Bunny art! I started putting my bunny on shirts this weekend and on a few towels. This is mainly because Halloween is near and I figured some people may enjoy a suspected criminal bunny as part of their Halloween home decor. The shirts were okay, but when I put the bunny on the towels they felt empty to me. So I did what I usually do and I made a repeatable pattern for the background on the towels and any other merch that felt empty. That being said, my first thought wasn't a towel but a blanket to put my bunny on. Why? Because there's nothing like cozying up in a soft blanket while watching scary things. I rely heavily on blankets and am very much a blanket person in general. So, having a crime scene bunny blanket felt like the perfect idea in my head. I am definitely still working on making them because trying to figure out the background color to put behind all of my art has been tripping me up this time around. Oh well, I am sure I will get it eventually or make several color options. I hope you have enjoyed my various Halloween art that I have completed recently! This year's Halloween art collection is now available! Minus the Bunny which will soon be available. The collection can be found in my printify pop-up shop if anyone is interested in any of the designs. This year's art collection was super fun to come up with and bring to life so I am hoping others enjoy it as well. I have a small dogs collection of art pieces including a vampire, a ghoul, and a grim reaper dog as well as a cat collection for this year. The cat collection includes a pumpkin, a witch, a mummy, and another ghoul. The ghouls were popular among my family so I ended up making one for cats and one for dogs. I am still working on publishing my crime scene bunny things as it is taking some time to get the right look down for it. Overall, it was a productive Halloween prep and I am psyched to share them with the world. I adore Halloween as a holiday so it is definitely one that I spent a fair amount of time prepping for. Halloween is a magical time of year where the supposed veil between the living and the dead. As a result, the dead can walk among us more. It is a fascinating concept across the world in terms of beliefs and traditions. I am simply happy to adore and absorb all the excitement surrounding the holiday! I'm working on a crime scene bunny for Halloween. I thought it was a funny twist of how bunnies look when they eat berries. Often they look like they made a murder scene with berry juice smeared all over. As such, this is a big art piece that may take some time to complete. I usually post my art, but one of my adored book series came out with a minigame! I could have a dragon pick me and that is kinda exciting. The book series is called, "The Fourth Wing." It is a series that revolves around a young lady named Violet who shares one of my diagnosises, EDS. She lives in a world where they are currently fighting the griffins in a war and they bond with dragons to do it. The dragons choose their rider in a test called, "Threshing", where they weed out the weak and unworthy from the strong. The minigame that was created is a DNDesque version of the book's threshing, and it is exciting to know what dragon would choose who in my opinion. I will never see the things created by AI as art. It lacks the soul, thought and imperfections that make art what it is. From small smudges, slips of the hand, intentional color choices and placements of objects, all of these things are intentionally chosen by human artists. An AI can only only serve what humans have made and attempt to copy them. Never downplay your art no matter if you do art often or if you doodle in the margins of notes. These art pieces hold more value than anything that was copied through stolen assets. Drawing is good for us so keep it up. #humanartist #art #noai #doodle

Art doesn't need to be perfect. This lady I drew has a bit of a wonky face but you can tell I was working on something humanesque. She is far from perfect but I have improved a fair amount in human faces during artfight. I dislike drawing humans especially realism ones but I have always wanted to do it well. My struggle to draw people is the main reason I choose to primarily draw animals. Another being that learning about animals is one of my passions in life. This being said, I occasionally like to attempt to draw people. This is just one of my art studies. I was trying to go from grey scale to color and work on making human faces a bit. #art #artstudy #practice #humans

If you never take risks and always play on the safe side then it becomes much harder to learn and grow. This applies to both art and to life! Mistakes happen, and we cannot blame ourselves endlessly for them. Blaming and staying stuck is a one way trip to depressoville. Use the errors or flaws as a means of learning instead! In art, this looks like the wrong color choice, a wrong brush, or even that the nose is crooked. In life, it could be a wrong career choice, a wrong partner, or choosing substances over everything else. There are so many examples out there and I could go endlessly on about them! The most important part is realizing that there's something wrong that isn't working out and trying to remedy the situation. This is how we as humans grow and evolve. I don't believe in using AI in art. Art is a core part of what makes us human in my opinion. There is a place for AI in the future, but it is not in art taking the human imagination parts out of the world. AI is supposed to make hard jobs easier, not making humans obsolete. Also it should not stealing from other people (and yes, it is stealing from real humans at the moment). This is just my opinion and it is shared by plenty of other artists. The Pileated woodpecker can be hard to spot but they do live here in Wisconsin! They just tend to be more shy and avoid people. People often hear them from afar pecking into wood far before they can catch a glimpse of them. In this bird's case, both males and females have the beautiful red crest! However only the males get a red stripe on their cheeks. These woodpeckers live in forests across the eastern United States, Canada, and along the Pacific Coast. They are known for the deep holes they make in trees and they rely on old dead trees for their nests. #birdart #wisconsin #woodpecker #nature #art

More whimsical Paleo art for your day! It took me a bit to finish this one since I had started working on my birds series in the middle of my strawberry dinos. I struggle to stick to a theme for too many art pieces because I feel like I lose motivation when I set up a plan for a series of critters to all match. The bird series had been a long, taxing, but rewarding plan. The dino series helped feed my inner child the much needed pop of color she was craving. Only time will tell what my next set of critters will be, but I still have many more birds to show off so it have time to plan. #dinosaur #paleoart #art #whimsy

The American Goldfinch is the next cute bird added to my bird art collection! It's fairly common here in Wisconsin and it enjoys seeds. The males are the ones who show off their iconic yellow feathers during breeding season before molting and changing to a duller yellow in winter months that matches the female's colors. #goldfinch #birdart #art #wisconsin

The dark eyed Junco is one of my personal favorite birds to see because of how fluffy they look. If there was a bed of juncos for me to lay on it would be among the softest and most cuddly beds I swear. Plus the black and white feathers make them look all formal like penguins and tuxedo cats. I enjoyed making this Dark-eyed Junco art. They will always be cuties on my book and I will welcome them at my bird feeders. I know these birds aren't only in the state of Wisconsin but they are commonly seen in Wisconsin. My next strawberry dinosaur is a strawberry spino! I was inspired by the fascinating mutated strawberries and I used their appearance as inspiration for the spino's spine. I will have one more strawberry dinosaur which I am thinking of doing a Taco dino for that one. A Compy strawberry dino to join my first strawberry dino! I made a few in the end and they are kinda cute in their own ways. The Compy has to be one of my favorite dinosaurs (I have a couple favorites). They look so little and cute that I feel like they could be carried in a purse. I designed a Gummisaur recently that is kitsuneesque. Gummisaurs are a closed species of space dragon on Toyhouse. When I was determining what kind of Gummisaur I wanted, my mind kept settling on a kitsune dragon hybrid and that is what I created. The concept idea seems so cute that I couldn't pass it up even if it may be a bit cliche. After all, you make an OC to enjoy them and to draw them. This is her recently completed feral form. Before I joined Toyhouse I didn't understand the purpose of closed species, but the Gummisaur server is the server that I began to understand them more. The server is quite active, and friendly. They made me realize that closed species are created to have a mutual world with a set of rules to build together with other artists. It's a beautiful idea and it is fun to participate in a world together with others. #OC #art #artist #toyhouse
