Apps you need for your trip to China 👇 💳 Alipay: this will be how you pay the most, for restaurants, vending machines, taxis, etc. they have an international version so you can link your international credit cards 💬 WeChat: this is the most popular chat app but also used to run mini programs to order food and pay at restaurants. Also can link your credit card to pay 📍Amap: Google Maps does not work well in China, you’ll want to download Amap which has translation, Baidu map and Apple Maps also work decently well 🚕 Didi: the uber equivalent in China, it will automatically translate your messages with the driver and you can link your card to pay in app 🛫 trip.com: the best way to book everything on an English friendly website - everything from hotels, trains, flights to tickets for shows & attractions. You can literally plan an entire trip in app and it conveniently lays out your itenerary for you. 🛍️ dianping: a mix of yelp meets DoorDash, look up the best restaurants & attractions but also order delivery and groceries 🗣️ a translation app like baidu translate, pleco, or Google Translate. Download off line version 🛜 vpn / eSIM of your choice, if you want to still access all your usual WhatsApp / instagram etc you can’t access with regular WiFi in China What did I miss? #chinatravel #travelchina #china

Those gorgeous trees are called Jacarandás (Jacaranda mimosifolia), and catching them in full bloom is one of the absolute best times to experience Lisbon.  They turn the city into a stunning sea of violet and lilac, typically peaking between mid-May and early June. #lisbon #jacarandas #travel
