behind the scenes on how I film my cooking videos today we're gonna be doing a very simple pasta sauce I had it last night it was fantastic it was delicious so I'm gonna show you guys how I make these videos that you guys are familiar seeing that like the fancy ones um I'm gonna be using my my phone to show you behind the scenes okay let's just get started I'm hungry so this is the equipment that I use for filming my food videos I use my Canon 5D Mark 4 with just a standard 24 to 70 millimeter lens and then I use this light for my accent light on the side this is from TikTok Shop you guys are probably seen this all over the place I I love this thing I use also those little tripods but I'm using right now for my phone and then I use literally just one of these bad boys so this is it it's a really simple setup obviously a tripod for my camera oh and because these are TikTok videos and I don't film the horizontal YouTube style videos I only do Tik Toks and possibly YouTube shorts I film vertically like this and so this L bracket right here attaches to my tripod and so it just gives you a sturdier hold when you're having your cameras vertical versus horizontal and it's a really easy switch so if you're a photographer or videographer and you don't have one of these L brackets are super affordable on Amazon and they just make everything they just they just make filming vertically so easy okay so typically this is the setup that I have I have my camera right here like that vertically I have my umbrella light and then I pop on the accent light typically in a warmer to um warmer setting and I'll show you what it looks like oh this is typically what you guys see when I make my cooking videos and I'll show you guys the side light setup over here on the side I have this setup I have that light from TikTok Shop this is also a tripod from TikTok Shop I swear this is not a TikTok Shop promo I can't even do that on this account so this is what I have on the side and it's currently at 3,000 Calvins if you know that's like the color temperature and I can make this warmer cooler I'm gonna leave it at 3,000 100% brightness last thing that I realized that I forgot is typically I have my phone sitting right here out of frame and I use my phone to pick up audio because the camera microphone is not the best that lens is also somewhat loud so you can hear it changing focus and no if anyone wants to send me nice laugh mics I'd love that
