the floods in nepal and tibet took lives, washed away homes, and left families grieving and searching for loved ones. for those of us far from home, it’s hard to know what to do with that helplessness. on september 2, different running clubs, cultures, and communities came together in queens to show their support. people with no connection to nepal or tibet still chose to care, to listen, and to help. this is the new york i love. so many of us carry a different home in our hearts, yet we show up for each other when those homes are hurting. that night showed me the power of this city’s diversity. we stood in silence, ran together, and raised funds. hearing people share why they came meant so much to me. thank you to everyone who showed up. let’s keep caring long after the headlines move on. ❤️ #nepaltibetflood #nepalflashflood #climatechangeisreal #climatechangeawareness #nepalitiktok
