Black Mass (@blackmasselectronics)

CSOF excels at low gain tones. Somewhere in the realm of vintage console tones and small tube combo amps. It has plenty of juice if you want it, but just a little drive with some single coils has such rich texture that just a little is all you need. . . @blackmasselectronics Clarion Pickup set >…

CSOF is back in stock in a killer silver sparkle finish. This pedal didn’t get as much love as some of the others when it was released and I’d been planning on retiring the circuit but at the last few pedal shows people have said how much they loved it and I had to reconsider. Here we have our…

Which IR do you like the best? The setup here is DI guitar, guitar rig 5 amp plugin, into our cab IRs. These are all set to the Weber silverwolf speaker at a distance of 2”. . . #blackmasselectronics #guitar #guitargear #cabir #impulseresponse

One of the more overlooked features on the First Herald is the clipping switch. To the left we have our combination LED/mosfet clipping which has a great modern sound, and in the middle position we remove the diodes from both clipping stages for pure transistor distortion. It’s a great choice for…

One of the best tools we have ever purchased is this counting scale. Put 10 on the scale, set it, and it will count automatically. We have to often count hundreds or thousands of parts at a time and this makes it a breeze. Here we are counting potentiometers and putting dust caps on them that help…

Malicious Intent is a simple device that helps get the most out of your signal. The active high pass allows you to tighten up the low end, the gain control gives you just a little bit of oomph and texture, and the level control allows you to keep things under control or smash the amp input…

For a while we’ve had people asking for a single coil bridge pickup to pair with the Between Worlds neck single coil. I think we got it. Coming soon in HB and JM size. Could be in soapbar size if people are into it. Let us know ⬇️⬇️⬇️ . . . #blackmasselectronics #guitartok #pickups #diy…

When I first started building pickups, in addition to my pedals, I thought I’d maybe sell a few here and a few there. The pickup orders have almost exceeded my pedal orders and I spend the majority of my time building pickups now. It’s very surprising and honestly a little overwhelming. But if…

Our ceremonial show of force is a little pedal with a lot of range. Low gain breakup sounds through to huge blown out console sounds. It’s an all discrete overdrive. No opamps, no clipping diodes. Just pure transistor overloading bliss. #blackmass #blackmasselectronics #pedals #guitarpedals…

It’s the monday before Xmas and we are still building pedals. Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year. Couldn’t do it without you. . . #blackmass #blackmasselectronics #blackmass1312 #1312 #guitarpedal #guitarpedals #shoegaze #guitar #punk #hardcore #emo #distortion

We have built a ton of pickups this year and we just keep going. When we first started selling pickups I thought we’d just make a few here and there, but the support has been overwhelming. I really appreciate everyone who’s ordered anything so far and I’m working to get them made faster in the new…
