FM grad → TV & Film Costumer 🎥🎬🎭 Fashion Marketing grad Kristi Mcquade came back to share her experience of pursuing the film industry. Students gained insight as Kristi spoke about how she went from learning how to read call sheets and understanding set etiquette in class, to working on real productions. She also shared valuable tips on how to overcome challenges along the way. When she first started, she was mentored by Derek Baskerville, an industry professional and instructor for Costuming for TV & Film. Since then, Kristi has gone on to work on several short films in the indie genre, opening doors to opportunities in places like Montreal and London. Originally from Lebanon, Rolla had built her brand identity on one-of-a-kind couture dresses defined by impeccable silhouettes, and an unwavering devotion to details. From it's inception, the brand has been devoted to creating garments that honour female individuality.
