I remember the day God lead me to you. For years I wondered where you were, I would often dream about being married to you. How you would be? How you would love Jesus? How genuine you would be? I believed God has a daughter like you somewhere for me. Was I deserving? No. I was a wretched man who was lost in every way. At the time I knew of God but didn’t serve Him. Presenting all of my requests yet not living one true day surrendered to Him. When He brought you along I remember hearing God say “Here she is, now I need your heart!”. All I knew at the time was that God was asking for a closer relationship with me. He used you in such a mighty way, that day I knew the Woman of God that you were because being around you made me want God even more. At that first date you prayed over me and prayed for God’s will in my life, I left that day saying “it’s her, my wife!”. I wish I could say from that moment it was all perfect. It wasn’t. Even though I felt so blessed to have you, I had no idea how to treat you. Over the last three years we’ve been up so high and down so low, but you stayed. You chose to love and respect me even when I was a man that wasn’t worthy of respect. In those lows God spoke to me about what it meant to love, so many days my sweet Trinity He used you to encourage me to be more like Him.
