It’s official, the engine and transmission are being pulled from the Z Why? The hotside of the turbo piping is not fitting as it was meant to so i gotta cut, tack, and weld the piping where it needs to be. And of course this would be a lot easier to do with everything out rather than being under the car. Should you run Solid mounts or Polyurethane? you should make your decision based on what your build goals are upgrading your mounts can add a lot of performance to your build by giving better throttle response and allow you to feel more connected to the car its self Solid mounts do a better job at this but come at the cost of being harsher and louder. you have to weigh weather the benefits out weighs the cost of the vibrations you’ll trade for. What's the difference between the de and rev up engines and is it worth it? The revup is nissans refined version of the vq35de and only came in the manual versions of the 350z and g35 (pretty rare if you think abt it) It comes with a higher redline and more hp from factory due to having upgraded cams and VVTI on the intake AND exhaust the most notable issue with the revup is its ability to burn oil quick.
