Dinner AND a show?! 🐟🔥 Celebrating seven years together @Angie Q and another birthday with an unforgettable evening at Le Coq in La Jolla! We finally experienced their Thursday Bluefin Tuna Tasting, featuring Executive Chef Tara Monsod performing a LIVE whole bluefin tuna breakdown right in the dining room. Incredible food, beautiful atmosphere, amazing wine, and hospitality that truly sets this place apart. From the tuna crudo and tuna katsu to the steak frites, every course was an experience of its own. The highlight? Meeting the incredible people behind it all, including Chris Puffer, and getting a special behind-the-scenes kitchen tour! Thank you to Chef Tara, Andrew Bacerra, and the entire front- and back-of-house team for making our anniversary and birthday celebration so memorable. ❤️ 📍 Le Coq | La Jolla, CA #LeCoq #BluefinTuna #SanDiegoFoodie #LaJolla #FoodTok

First tri-tip on the smoker 🔥🥩 I’m really starting to love smoking at home. It’s definitely teaching me patience 😂 but I’m loving the process — and the outcome! I love when Q @Angie Q cooks for me, but I love being able to take care of her and our family too. ❤️ This one was for Auntie Nell’s birthday dinner, and somehow the rain let up just long enough for me to get this little guy done. First tri-tip = success. I think I’m hooked. #smoke #tritip #laborday

Sun, swings, and a little backyard practice. ☀️⛳️🏌🏻‍♀️ Working on my wedges, trying to keep my left shoulder down, and keeping a tempo. Reminding myself that my irons are still my favorite clubs. Finished with the driver… a few great swings, a few not-so-great ones, but that’s practice. Looking forward to getting back out on the course. #golf #practice #california

He gave me way too much credit… TBH - I think he wanted to get hit! 🤣 it is hot outside…

A random day off together. @Angie Q We work opposite schedules, so days like this don’t happen nearly enough anymore. Lunch at Pelican Hill, nowhere we needed to be, and time with my favorite person. I didn’t realize how much I missed days like this. #partner #newportbeach #socal

4 years ago today 😂 Q and I were living in Texas, I was working construction, and apparently we were already doing what we do best… feeding people 😂 We’ve cooked for almost every jobsite I’ve ever been on. Because after working your ass off all day, nothing hits like sitting down, eating some good food and just enjoying the people around you. Texas got a little taste of us 🤙🏽😂 Also… the way we were making musubi back then vs. now 😭😂 GIRL. Growth. We’ve had some growth. Good food. Good people. That’s always been our thing ❤️@Angie Q

Happy Birthday to the one who changed everything 🤍 @Angie Q Q, life didn’t just get better when you came into it—it got fuller, warmer, and somehow more real. From building Q’s Island BBQ together, to the long days, the chaos, the wins, the stress, the laughs… I wouldn’t trade a second of it. We’ve created something that’s ours, something rooted in love, family, and where we come from—and that’s because of you. You’ve shown me what it means to stand strong, to love deeply, and to keep going no matter what’s in front of us. You carry so much heart in everything you do, and everyone around you feels it. I’m proud of you, I’m grateful for you, and I’m lucky to walk through this life with you—side by side, building, growing, and dreaming bigger every day. Here’s to you, to us, and to everything we’re still becoming. I love you always #happybirthday
