People often ask me if I ever get scared singing in front of crowds. I definitely get nervous before singing certain songs or in front of certain crowds, but nothing terrified me more than improvising in front of a crowd of strangers at a Blues/Jazz club. My friend pushed me out of my comfort zone and handed me the mic to improvise. I felt my throat tighten from nerves, ready to run out the door. I’m glad I did it, even though I did mess up a little bit. We get better by doing things that scare us and then it becomes a little less scary next time. #improvisation #blues #jazz #singer

Glen was an incredible songwriter, but not just that. He was able to deliver the emotion of a song in a way that made you feel it too. “Say It To Me Now” is one my favorites of his. Rest in peace, Glen. Thank you for the music @Glen Hansard #glenhansard #sayittomenow #once #songwriter
