St. Fabian School held a cereal drive for CARES and delivered 422 boxes of cereal, weighing 573 pounds. Cereal is one of the most requested items in our pantry, and this donation will help a lot of local families start their day with breakfast. It has been almost two months since the Duck Race, but we are still thinking about the incredible support from our community. A special thank you to Alro Steel for helping make our new Duck Drop Box possible. It was a huge part of the fun, but the real impact came from everyone who showed up, sponsored, volunteered, bought ducks, and supported CARES. Together, we generated support equivalent to more than 70,000 meals for our neighbors. That is what happens when a community comes together. Thank you, Alro, and thank you to everyone who made it possible!

Duckmania is in full swing! Watch our flock of ducklings lead the way through Downtown Farmington, with our giant duck rolling right behind them. Today was a special day at CARES as we welcomed the incredible DTE Community Engagement Team and Fox 2 reporter Camille Amiri to share an important story about helping our neighbors stay safe during the summer heat. DTE is providing water to upwards of 50 community partners across our region, and we were honored that CARES was selected to receive two full pallets of bottled water for the families we serve. Thank you to the entire DTE Community Engagement Team for your continued commitment to our communities and for recognizing that something as simple as clean drinking water can make difference. Thank you as well to Fox 2 and Camille for helping tell this story and shine a light on the needs that exist in our communities.

CARES Parking Lot Transformation! What started as a need became a reality through the generosity of @ChurchofJesusChrist and the partnership of Michigan Asphalt, RCI Electric, and David Stafford and @StaffordLandscaping. This project has transformed the first impression of CARES, creating safer access, improved accessibility, and a more welcoming experience for the more than 900 families who visit CARES each month. Thank you to everyone who helped make this vision possible as we continue building our Campus of Hope. ❤️
