SUBREPRESENRACIÓN LATINA EN AREA TECH
Transcript
Did you know that Latinas represent only 02 per 100 of computer science degrees in the United States? And if we talk about Colombian women, only a few thousand have studied or are in this area. Why is this happening? Because historically we have had less access, fewer models to follow and less visibility in technology. But this can change every time a Latina enters Tec, every time a Colombian woman studies with Peter Sainz, we create representation. Every time we see ourselves in this field, we don't just see ourselves, we see all the girls who will come next with pride. Make my flag and I represent Latina girls interested in technology. Don't wait, this space, it's yours too. Be part of the change
