🛒 Shopping Bill – Let's Code It in Python! 🐍 We're all familiar with shopping bills and how useful they are in everyday life. But how about creating one yourself using Python? You may already be familiar with several Python concepts. Now it's time to put them into practice and build something useful! In this simple shopping bill program, we use variables, arithmetic operations, type conversion, conditional statements, and built-in functions. Notice those little red squiggly lines in PyCharm? They appear when a variable name is misspelled. But what happens if you run the program without correcting it? Since Python cannot recognise an undefined variable name, it raises a NameError. The "if" statement controls a decision in our program. Here, it checks whether the shopping total qualifies for a discount. One small program, several Python concepts, and a little debugging along the way! Knowing Python syntax is one thing.
