There’s so many get richer quicker faster schemes these days than ever before. There are more opportunities to find success in ways we’ve never imagined. But there is something to be said for grinding it out for 20 years. For growing, then failing, then falling and getting back up over and over again. The quick rise is fantastic for those who find it, but there is something magical about building something slowly, with a solid foundation, with lasting power so it will still be here for generations to come. I hope our business can serve our community and our team for a very long time. And I’m grateful for the the pains it took to get here and the future pains we will endure to keep it going. Let’s talk about the gratification of building something real, slowly, over time. That’s how you find true meaning and purpose.

Fall Break 2026 🍁🍁 We Fall Break-ed hard through the Smokies / Pigeon Forge and then to see our girl’s college setting debut at @berryvolleyball !!!! We made lots of memories, learned new hard things, and took a break from the grinds of life. I’m getting better at this taking a break thing. It’s hard when your brain doesn’t shut off from thinking about the business and the work that needs to be done. But giving myself space and time off allows room for rest, new ideas and the ability to focus on what really matters—- time and family. ❤️❤️❤️ Here’s your sign to take the trip, live in the moment, and love the life you have! #familytravel #crankandboom #pigeonforge

What if doing it the hard way is the whole point? We could buy the marshmallows. ❌ We could use pre-made graham crumbs. ❌ We could take the shortcuts. ❌ But where’s the fun in that? 🎉🎉 Our team spends hours making the components of our S’mores Sundae from scratch — housemade marshmallows, graham crumbs, our own craft ice cream — then we build it in the shop and torch those marshmallows to order. 🔥🍨 In a world obsessed with faster, easier and more convenient, this is our little tribute to doing things differently. As we have always done. To taking the extra step. To taking the long way. To making things with your hands. To our artisans behind every batch, scoop and sundae. Because sometimes doing it the hard way is the whole point. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 And yeah… you can taste the difference. ❤️ #CrankAndBoom #CraftIceCream #MadeFromScratch #LexingtonKY #smoresseason
