📣 One Day Longer 35 years ago today, the Frontier Strike, the longest most successful labor strike in U.S. history, began. On September 21st, 1991, 550 workers at the Frontier Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas walked off the job. For six years, four months, and ten days those Culinary Union strikers maintained a picket line 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Not one striker crossed the picket line. At the end of the strike, the Culinary Union negotiated so that all the original workers were brought back to their jobs and were provided back pay and benefits. YES WE DID!
