YES, PLEASE! 🎃 All you need is 1 and half pipe cleaners! 🌀 Wrap one pipe cleaner tightly around a small stick to make a spiral. 🎃 Thread the second pipe cleaner through the middle of the spiral about one and a half times to tie it into a circle. 🌿 Pull it tight, twist the loose ends together to make a stem, and you're done! 🎃🌿 Meet the JACK O’ PLANTER! 👻🪴 What do you get when you combine a jack-o’-lantern with a houseplant? The cutest little spooky planter! 🧡 I carved a mini pumpkin into a jack-o’-lantern, added a drainage hole in the bottom, and turned it into a home for a golden pothos! 🌱 Here’s my little trick: I cut down a plastic nursery pot to fit inside the pumpkin. 🎃 We’re putting a colorful spin on one of my favorite upcycled fall crafts! 🍂 We made a book pumpkin like this a few weeks ago, but this time I decided to experiment with color—and I LOVE how the orange edges turned out! 🧡 All you need is an old book, some orange paint, twine, and a few leaves. Rip off the cover, cut the book down to size, shape the pages into a half-pumpkin shape, then wrap the whole thing around a stem to create a 3D pumpkin. 🎃 Turn an old glass jar into the cutest little jack-o-lantern! 👻 This is such an easy way to recycle jars you already have into spooky Halloween decor. Start by cleaning your jar really well and removing all of the labels and sticky glue residue. Then pour in some slightly thinned acrylic paint and carefully turn the jar until the entire inside is coated. Pour out any excess paint and let it dry completely. You don't have to be a painter to make something cute. 👻🎨 This little ghost painting is ridiculously easy and only needs a canvas, some paper, paint, and a cotton ball! First, cut a simple ghost shape out of paper and place it in the center of your canvas. Then start making colorful dots all around it using cotton balls and acrylic paint. Once you're happy with your dots, remove the paper and watch your little ghost appear! 👻✨ Add two black dots for the eyes, one for the mouth, and I like running a little black paint around the edges to give it a more finished look. Another old book gets a second life—and this time, it's becoming a honeycomb pumpkin! 🎃📚 This one looks complicated, but the technique is surprisingly simple. First, choose how tall you want your pumpkin to be and cut the book down to size. Then shape the pages into a half-pumpkin shape. From there, it's all about alternating your glue points: 🔸 First, glue a dot in the center 🔸 Next, glue dots at the top and bottom 🔸 Keep alternating through the pages Once everything is glued, open the book into a circle and watch that honeycomb pumpkin shape appear! 🎃 Add a little stem, ribbon, or whatever other fall accents you like, and you've got some seriously cute DIY decor. Remove the cover, cut the book into shape, fan and shape the pages, then wrap the spine around a twig and glue everything together. Add a little twine bow and you've got an adorable piece of cozy fall decor! I love projects like this because they give something that might otherwise end up in the trash a whole new purpose. ♻️📚 A couple important safety notes: If you're cutting the book with a blade, always cut away from yourself and keep your other hand out of the blade's path. I also used a flame to clean up some rough paper edges and give mine a little char—if you do this, work outside over a grill or firepit where the project can safely be dropped if the flame gets out of control. Before you throw out that beautiful candle container... turn it into a planter! 🌱🕯️ Today we're giving an old candle a second life instead of sending a perfectly good glass or ceramic container to the landfill. First, use a little heat from a blow dryer to loosen the stickers, then use rubbing alcohol to remove any leftover adhesive. For the candle itself, add boiling water to loosen and float out the remaining wax and wick, then give the container a good wipe-down. Add drainage using: 🪨 Pebbles 🪴 An elevated inner pot 🔨 Or drill a drainage hole in the bottom Then add your plant and you're done! If you're using a fake plant, you can skip the drainage altogether.
