The Weekend was full of fun, fellowship, family, and friends. It started Saturday morning with Elder Elsie Henderson giving us a Powerful Word on Self Care and Self Love. Dr. Joecilyn Roseboro-Hastie’s God’s Girl Movement Self-Care Workshop was absolutely amazing where we crafted Vision Frames and learned more about ourselves spiritually. 🩷 Sunday was a blast celebrating Lois Franklin’s 90th Birthday at Brookland Monticello and The Brookland Baptist Banquet Center. 🎂🎉💜🎈 Then off to spend time with mom ❤️❤️❤️❤️ What am I learning? Life is about connecting with people, loving on others, and giving of your time. As I always say, it’s good to be back close to home. This weekend was one for the books. I started the weekend working out and then a hair appt with the infamous Geovanny 🤗 Saturday started with traveling to SC, Seminary class, and ended with a wonderful Educational Day Celebration honoring Kennedy Putnam at Platt Springs Baptist Church. God was in the midst and we praised, prayed, and preached a word tailor made for Kennedy.
