Today I’m celebrating my growth. If you knew my story, you also know that it came with a lot of pain, loss and struggle. Pushing through it with everything inside me to make my loved ones (now deceased) proud of me. And still, I’m thankful. While I celebrate what God did to put me on display, others did not. And couldn’t see what it really was. It was the Lord saying, @Well done. My good and faithful servant. Well done! That’s why I hold my head up high, because God moved on my CEO, the President & CEO of the American Trucking Associations. And Prime Inc to move on my behalf. I faithfully told my daughter’s tragic story for over 24 years. It changed lives. So today, I’m thankful. BUT GOD DID THAT….3 times. Back in Springfield, MO Icreated a teal room to remind myself of my home state, California. Every day for 4 years, I felt homesick. Always wishing after losing my husband and my mom that I was back home. So, I created the vibe that soothed my soul. The haven that gave me peace. Before I was assigned my load, I prayed and said “Lord, can I do a run that’s local?” I didn’t say a word to the planners. I prayed and waited. Yesterday we left Sparks, NV and headed to deliver a load to American Canyon, CA. God gave me what I prayed for. On the way, we stopped at the rest area off I-80, just before hwy 37. Suddenly, memories of my earlier years driving came to mind. I’d stopped here many times on my way to cites in the Bay Area.
