Transcript
Okay, I decided I'm gonna do another segment, I'm just gonna sit up and watch the Lindsay Clancy trial from today anyway, so I might as well just do another segment. Um, I don't know if I'll post these all in one day. Maybe I will, maybe I won't. I don't know. But regardless, same day, I'm doing a third section. So we have already our one row of buff blush double crochet and four rows of aubergine in half double crochet. Um, so far, this is what she's looking like, 160 chains across. So now we are going to select our choices for our third segment. The only thing I did was I left our last color out, cause I don't wanna pick that again. So as always, let's start with our number of rows. I don't wanna get one again. I would get four. What do we got? Six. A big segment. That's good. That'll take me up the rest of my night till I'm ready to go to bed. Six. Um, let's pick our type of stitch. Shake it up a little bit. Some of these you need two colors for, which I did write down. Okay. Granny stripe, two colors. So I do have to pick two colors out of here. You don't have to do two colors. The granny stripe, but I heard it looks better, so I'm gonna pick two. Let's see what we get. Color one, ivory. That'll look nice as a Dual color. And the other color is going to be forest. Okay, so we've got ivory and forest that we're gonna add to this already existing buffed blush and maroon. All right, let's get started. I've never done granny stripe before, um, so I do need to go watch a little tutorial before I start filming myself do any of that. So, uh, it'll be three stripes of ivory, three stripes of forest. Um, I think I might start ivory, right, to break it up, and then go in with forest. We'll see. Okay, it is now 12:40 in the morning, but I did finish the granny stripes. So six rows of granny stripe alternating ivory and forest. I'm glad that I did this in two colors, because it just, like, really makes the individuals, um, portions of the stitch pop. I don't know. I think it's very cute. So, all in all, this is what the blanket is looking like so far. I like it so far. It's very cute. It's giving Christmas in a good way. It's like vintage Christmas to me. Like, timeless Christmas. I love these. They look like little, like. Like snowflakes and, like, I don't know, they just look cute. So I'm glad that I got those two colors together. I do need to go to bed cause I have work tomorrow, but for the first day in the first three episodes, I think it's coming together pretty well. So check back tomorrow for The next episode to see what colors and stitches that we get.
