I put everything I know in my Cabin Secrets Playbook. Comment "PLAYBOOK" and I'll send it to you. ✈️ I've watched a suitcase come down on someone's bare foot at the gate, and the toenail doesn't survive it. I've seen this happen enough times over the last five years that I always wince before the passenger does. A heavy carry-on slips out of the overhead bin, lands straight on someone's toes, and I've watched perfectly healthy toenails turn black right before boarding. I've seen passengers limp onto the plane before we've even pushed back from the gate. The problem is that overhead bags can weigh far more than people expect. When all that weight lands on the tip of your foot, it doesn't take much to bruise the nail, split it, or even cause it to fall off weeks later. That's why I always recommend closed-toe shoes when you fly, and if your bag is too heavy, let the crew help instead of risking your foot. #viral #airplane #travel #flights #travelsafe
