From March 7th to Aug 7th. From when it started to how it’s going now. It hasn’t been easy, there has been a lot of turmoil, emotions running high, and constant struggle with acceptance. I might not be able to run anymore, or dance the way I used to, or even jump lol but still grateful to be able to have the ability to walk again. I’m barely at the starting line, barely being able to put on both of my shoes, and barely feeling like I have a routine. One day I’ll probably need a full reconstruction on my leg and knee but I’ll let future me deal with that. For now I’ll keep enjoying life as best as I can, with the love and support from all of yall. I was miserable in the beginning, but I wasn’t alone so that’s what made a difference. I still have 6-9 months, up to 2 years until 89-100% full recovery but like if anyone is a wizard, and would like to magically heal my leg pls lmk. Thank you. 🙂‍↕️ P.S- I hate narco, I hate drugs, hospitals are horrible so I hope everyone stays safe and for those that can’t avoid it due to xy&z I feel for ya. This experience def has its downs, but really glad it’s helped me grow to not only understand but like really really understand how bad access for those with disabilities really is. Didn’t need the universe to bust my leg to give me this type of enlightenment but I ain’t gonna trip about it now might as well just go with the flow and see where it leads.
