Shortly after midnight on September 13, 1997, former Dunbar security inspector Allen Pace III and five alleged accomplices entered the company’s armored-cash depot in downtown Los Angeles. Pace knew the floor plan, camera positions and overnight operation. According to prosecutors, the crew established an alibi at a Long Beach party, quietly left wearing black clothing and masks, then opened a side door with a retained key. Armed with pistols and a shotgun, they ordered employees onto the floor and bound their hands and feet with duct tape. No shots were fired. The robbers cut the locks from cash cages and loaded $18.9 million into a 14-foot U-Haul truck in under 30 minutes. Before leaving, they smashed the depot’s cameras and removed the surveillance tapes. Investigators recovered one promising clue: a small amber-colored taillight fragment that an FBI laboratory matched to the same model of U-Haul. The case broke more than two years later. An informant identified Eugene Hill as the man who rented the truck. When Hill was arrested, investigators found cash still carrying wrappers connected to the robbery. Hill confessed and identified the remaining participants. Four defendants pleaded guilty. Pace and Erik Boyd were convicted at trial; Pace received 24 years and two months, while Boyd received more than 17 years. Investigators recovered approximately $5 million in money and purchased assets, but roughly $10 million remained missing. Inside knowledge made the robbery possible. A broken taillight and money that still wore its original wrappers helped dismantle it. #DunbarHeist #ArmoredTruckRobbery #LosAngelesCrime #TrueCrimeHistory #FrontlineTV

John Dillinger escaped Crown Point Jail on March 3, 1934—a jail authorities had called “escape proof.” Then he stole the sheriff’s car and crossed from Indiana into Illinois, making it a federal case. Four months later, FBI agents ended the hunt outside Chicago’s Biograph Theater. Was that one of the biggest jail-security failures ever? #JohnDillinger #TrueCrime #FBIHistory #Chicago #FrontlineTV

Beneath an ordinary-looking mountain in Australia, a coal seam has been slowly burning for an estimated 5,500 years. The fire is about 30 meters underground and advances roughly one meter each year. As it consumes the coal, the surface cracks, sinks and changes color—but exactly what ignited it remains unknown. Would you walk across a mountain knowing a fire was burning beneath your feet? #BurningMountain #Australia #UndergroundFire #NaturalMystery #FrontlineTV

Indonesia’s Kawah Ijen looks like it produces blue lava but the real explanation is even wilder. Sulfur-rich gases escape through cracks at temperatures reaching approximately 600°C. When those gases meet the air, they ignite into electric-blue flames that can reach around five meters high. The fire burns continuously but is primarily visible after dark. Would you enter this crater at night to witness the blue fire? #KawahIjen #Indonesia #BlueFire #Volcano #FrontlineTV

Boxing promoter Skyy Myles and BLK Prime are suing, alleging Blueface and Wack 100 streamed more than an hour of Chrisean’s boxing debut on Blueface’s verified Kick channel and told viewers not to purchase the fight. The plaintiffs are seeking unspecified damages. Blueface had not responded to TMZ by publication time. These are allegations from a civil complaint and have not been proven in court. Was this trolling taken too far or just bad business? #Blueface #ChriseanRock #Wack100 #HipHopNews #FrontlineTV

For decades, rocks at Death Valley’s Racetrack Playa appeared to move across the desert by themselves—leaving long trails behind them. Scientists finally witnessed the movement. A shallow pond froze into thin floating ice, sunlight broke the ice into panels and light winds pushed those panels into the rocks, slowly sliding them across wet mud. Would you have guessed that a few millimeters of ice could move a boulder? #DeathValley #SailingStones #NaturalMystery #ScienceExplained #FrontlineTV
