GRNMA NEC VISITS NURSE SALOMEY BAFFOE, REAFFIRMS SUPPORT THROUGHOUT LEGAL PROCEEDINGS On the first official day of the GRNMA National Executive Committee’s Phase 3 Regional Tour, the Association’s leadership, led by National President Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, paid a courtesy visit to Nurse Salomey Baffoe in the Brong Ahafo Region. During the visit, the President reaffirmed the Association’s commitment to supporting Nurse Baffoe throughout the ongoing legal proceedings. She emphasised that although the matter does not arise from her professional duties, GRNMA has followed the case from the outset, including assigning legal representatives to provide the necessary support. She assured Nurse Baffoe that the Association would continue to stand by her and provide the needed assistance throughout the legal process. The visit underscores GRNMA’s commitment to the welfare of its members and the importance of solidarity and support when members face difficult circumstances. 🎓 GRNMA CELEBRATES OUR GRADUATING MEMBERS! 🎓 The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives’ Association (GRNMA) proudly celebrates some of our distinguished members who graduated during the University of Ghana July 2026 Congregation Ceremonies, where 1,884 graduates from the School of Graduate Studies, School of Law, and the Medical and Dental Schools were conferred with various degrees. We are especially proud to celebrate: 🎓Dr. David Tenkorang-Twum – General Secretary, GRNMA, who has added yet another remarkable achievement to his impressive list of educational accomplishments with the successful completion of his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at the GIMPA Law School. This milestone further demonstrates his commitment to lifelong learning, professional development and leadership. 🎓 Rev. NEC Regional Tour 2026 | Central Region The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) has arrived at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital as part of its ongoing tour of the Central Region to engage members on issues affecting their welfare and conditions of service. The delegation was warmly received by the hospital’s management, including the Chief Executive Officer, the Nursing Directorate, and staff of the hospital, who welcomed the NEC ahead of a series of engagements. The visit provides an opportunity for the NEC to interact directly with nurses and midwives, listen to their concerns, assess their working conditions, and reaffirm the Association’s commitment to advancing members’ welfare and advocating for improved conditions of service. The engagement forms part of GRNMA’s broader efforts to strengthen collaboration with healthcare institutions while ensuring that the voices of nurses and midwives continue to shape the Association’s advocacy agenda. #grnma #grnmanectour

🏗️ GRNMA NEC TOUR 2026 | Central Region The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) has officially commenced its tour of the Central Region with an inspection of the Association’s new conference and accommodation facility in Cape Coast. The delegation, led by GRNMA President Mrs. Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, toured the ultra-modern complex, which is set to become one of the Association’s flagship investments. The facility will feature a 1,000-plus seating capacity conference hall, mini conference rooms for meetings and training, as well as guest accommodation to support conferences and other Association activities. Following the inspection, the President and members of the NEC expressed satisfaction with the progress of work and commended all those contributing to the project. They also expressed optimism that the facility will be completed and ready for use by the end of the year. Once completed, the conference centre is expected to strengthen GRNMA’s capacity to host national conferences, professional development programmes, and other major events, while serving as a lasting investment for the benefit of the Association and its members. #GRNMA #NECTour2026 #CentralRegion #CapeCoast #GRNMAConferenceCentre

NEC Regional Tour 2026 | Day 2 Begins with a Visit to Hospitalized Members The second day of the GRNMA National Executive Committee’s (NEC) Volta Regional Tour began with a visit to members who are currently receiving treatment at health facilities. Led by GRNMA President, Mrs. Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, the NEC interacted with the hospitalized members, offering words of encouragement, solidarity, and reassurance of the Association’s unwavering support during their recovery. The President wished each member a speedy recovery and reaffirmed GRNMA’s commitment to the welfare and well-being of every nurse and midwife.
