Good Practice (@good.practice.denver)

I would highly recommend getting together with your two new entrepreneurial gal pals to throw a pitch-a-book event with collage bookmarks and book sales! We had a great time listening to everyone’s pitches (with extremely minimal spoilers). Rosario received an abundance of cuddles, bookmarks were made, and books were sold! A 10/10 good time was had. @Pitch-a-Book Night Slowpoke Books

When you come to Good Practice, you’ll have more than an artsy experience. You’ll disconnect from all the stressors of the world and give your nervous system a chance to recalibrate. You’ll have a chance to try something new, make some mistakes, try again, laugh about it, and be encouraged by the people around you. You’ll cuddle with a puppy while you’re water coloring and discover your new favorite artist. You’ll hang out with your friends in a way that isn’t centered in being outdoors or drinking. You’ll support a Black, woman-owned business in Denver. You’ll be a kid again! #denver #denverartist #denvercreatives #denversmallbusiness #thingstodoindenver Art Cafe Denver , Denver art classes, Denver Artsy workshops, Denver Art Supplies

Figure Drawing 1st and 3rd Tuesdays 7pm-9pm at Good Practice Real bodies. Real mediums. Zero pressure. Our figure drawing sessions are a relaxed, judgment-free space to sketch from a live nude model. Come draw the human form the way artists have for centuries, just with a better playlist and cozier vibes. Never drawn a figure because? Perfect. Been doing it for years? Also perfect. We’ll move through quick gesture poses to warm up, then settle into longer holds so you can really dig in. No instruction, no critiques, no one peeking at your page. Just you, your paper, and a room full of people quietly getting better. Bring your own materials but we’ll have some extras here for those who need it! A few studio guidelines: respect the model, no photos or phones out during poses, and it’s 18+. Please tip the model before you leave! The next session is this Tuesday, October 20 at 7pm. Grab a spot, grab a pencil, and come see what your hand can do. #denver #thingstodoindenver #figuredrawing #art #artclass
