I flew 50 times and I was pregnant with Minnie. Now that I'm pregnant again, my doctor said enough flying. So naturally I took a train instead, a luxury train from Singapore to Malaysia. Welcome to the side of Asia they don't show you. And when I say a luxury, I mean crazy rich Asians level luxury. But first, here's me rolling my luggage onto the train in my our outfit. Very practical. Then I saw the train. Two dining cars, a piano bar, an observation car and a Dior spa. Yes, a Dior spa. Apparently even in the middle of the Malaysian jungle, we cannot have dry skin. Okay, room tour. Who knew sleeping on a train looked like this? Look at the embroidery, the fabrics, the wood, the detailing. Like am I on a train or inside a jewellery box? This is the room during the day versus at night. They turn it into this insanely cozy sleeping sanctuary. This was how they welcomed us with caviar and champagne in our cabin. I love getting in touch with nature. When I say let's go camping, this is what I mean. We were on the train for three nights and it was a three day fine dining Marathon. Many was created by chef Andre Chiang and there are two different dining cars. As someone who grew up with Southeast Asian food, I was blown away. Each meal the Southeast Asian flavours with a fusion twist. Scrumptious. I could make An entire video just about the food because we genuinely ate so much. And just when you think you physically cannot eat another thing, chocolates, different flavour every meal on top of the desserts. And somehow we never got bored. Turn in tea into piano bar, local kuih tasting fresh buttered medley, free flow cocktails, live music, literal singers, pianists, saxophonists, even a magician. Honestly, Crazy Rich Asians need to make a sequel because I found this set and we were spoiled. Breakfast in bed, afternoon tea in bed, watching Wild Malaysia roll past our window. I've never felt more connected to nature. Touching grass with a tiger and pink cocktail. This is my kind of outdoor adventure. And yes, before you ask, we did get off the train for excursions. You guys know I don't do camping, but Belmont somehow convinced me. What do you mean? They set up beds in the middle of the forest, blankets, eye mask, box spray, a whole sound bath by the river, experience a local snack bar in the jungle. They really said wilderness but luxury. This was such a special experience. From now on, when I say let's take a train, this is what I mean.
