£2 Viral Mango Ice Cream - Was it worth the hype? Helllzzzz yes! As a mango lover this was extremely good and it deserves the hype. The ice cream was milky, tasted natural (they say it's made from fresh mangoes) and just a delight overall. I really didn't like the pistachio flavour so avoid that. In contrast to the afghani ice cream I had the other week, this blows it out the water. That was way to icey and watery but this is worth the hype. Have you tried it? This is probably the highest rated Somali Restaurant in London! It's also the most expensive I've been to so far. I love my somali food and this was generally pretty good. After many years I tried the legendary Zubyeir Ocackbasi. The kebab was very good but I'll be honest it was missing some magic that made it my top kebab. The wings were absolutely average to be honest. 3 kebabs and 1 wings for £85 was pretty ridiculous too. I don't think it's worth anywhere that price. Seems like it's not as good as before as well as prices going up. I know I've recommended this to many of you previously and it's also been your favorite but at this price I just can't anymore. Came for the mango sticky rice @samsenhk. Was simply the best I've ever had. Can't stop thinking about it since. Was superb. Best Cinnamon Buns in London? Very well may be. I'm trying out all the offerings in London and having tried a fair few you guys recommended me @thebakineer and I had to make the trip down. I was not disappointed. The bun was served warm, was goeey and ticked all the boxes. I also rate Frankies Bakery highly and I think their frosting was better but overall I think this has to be the best one so far. Love the set up and love what these guys are doing. I don't go Birmingham as much as I used to but over the years it's @HALAWAAT I kept hearing praise about. The concept is a menu focused on middle Eastern desserts and though a cafe it's just a selection of in house desserts and some drinks. What caught my eye was their milk cake type desserts which resemble one but stand out and look unique in texture. Safe to say I wasn't disappointed. These were excellent. Finally tried @iloveyochi.uk. Never heard of this spot but it's come from the other side of the world. Long long queues. Didn't taste much like froyo but more of flavoured ice cream. I visited Ban Al Yemen last year and enjoyed it - apart from the cold chilli sauce which kinda ruined it. Revisited their new branch in Edgware Road and it was even better than expected. @fredbakery gets talked about a lot. Love bakeries so had to go try it. I gotta say it's worth it. The croissant was one of the best I've ever had. Excellent pistachio bun and their tiramasu croissant was a must try. The cinnamon bun was a let down and I didn't enjoy that. Their coffee wasn't the best either. Really nice atmosphere inside too. Revisiting @cultcafe.paris and the food was even better. There's usually queues but it's worth it. They actually do a very good Spanish latte and their cult sandwich is well worth a try.
