Playaz London was off the chain last night!

Interested in producing electronic music? Are you looking to progress your current level of music production? Not sure where to even begin? It doesn’t matter where you are in the world or what level of producer you are. To arrange an initial consultation or for any info, email [email protected]

Me & Turno have made a few tracks over the years. You may remember “glad you came” and “information“ both of which were released on low down deep.. But when I think about it, there is more unreleased than released! Here’s Rave Ting… one of the unreleased ones we’ve made together. No current plans…

More massive vst sound design in this short clip of a 121 session I was doing a little while ago. If Sound design is something you’re interested in learning more about, if you’re stuck on presets and you can’t make a sound from a saw tooth wave from scratch, perhaps consider giving me a shout on…

Few clips from live at Logan’s. This Friday we celebrate 20 years of low down deep at Club 338 London

I made this track using a rather unconventional snare pattern. This is a six-snare placement in a two-bar loop. It allows for some rather interesting bassline hooks and melodies (as you can hear in this tune). Conquer first will never be publicly released, but you can grab it right now exclusively…

Showing how I approach & apply some EQ 🎛️ in this short video clip of a 121 session I did recently. The feedback is also quite important to my students too. Looking forward to seeing how you progress this one next time Paul! #heist121s

“I want one anyway…” 🔫 Bandits. This one forthcoming on my label colab - recordings on an EP, most likely early on in 2027 now. That long bass has been tearing it on the systems wherever I play it. Cuttin’ tru seen #darkreddubs

Here’s one from myself and @mrspaow that never got a release. DJ Hype was over at my Studio the other day, it randomly got played and he took a copy home with him. No current plans for release at this time. #darkreddubs

Herrings/Warning Barrage out now on sumo beatz

Dropped a few stinkers at the bog in Bristol the other week 💩 full recording on YouTube just search for “heist bog” 🚽

This steppa has been doing the rounds in my DJ sets for a while. It’s never going to be officially, publicly released, but you can grab it right now, exclusively on my first ever Dub pack vol 1… dm for details. #darkreddubs

This Heist & Pleasure production came out on the freedom EP on @playazrecordings in 2014. This is the VIP mix that never got released. A few lucky souls have managed to get it off of myself or Pleasure and if that’s you - big up 🤟if you’re one of those souls that’s still yet to enquire.. maybe you…

Get @reshare_app • @jimheist I was going through some sampling strategies & techniques in this one-to-one. I tend to find that different samplers have different tricks & approaches to getting certain types of sounds and flavas. If you’d like to know more about this or anything to do with drum and…

That time I remixed Pendulum. This remix is over 16 years old. Pendulum commissioned me to do the remix for Time Warner (the major record label they were signed to at the time). The remix never made the cut, I wasn’t really given an explanation why, but that was okay. There was also a John B and a…

This is another one from the 2000’s vaults. Got to give a big shout to Grooverider who gave it a radio one premier when he was doing his show on the BBC. It was made awhile ago and It’s never been officially released. However you can grab Life force, exclusively and only on heist care package 03 📦…

Pretty much.. 👌

Here’s another kung fu influenced steppa. There’s always someone giving the it the biggun’... feisty mofos… no current plans for release on this one at this time. #darkreddubs

Herrings 🐟🐟🐟 people either love them or hate them ..quite often, a bit like my tunes 😜 This one has been doing the rounds for awhile now and it’s about time it came out. Forthcoming on my next single for sumo beatz very soon. #darkreddubs

Doing some bass Sound design in massive vst with one of my one-to-one tuition students last week. If Sound design is something you struggle with when you’re making music, perhaps consider hitting me up about my one-to-one tuition.

This one has been highly requested. It’s never going to be officially, publicly released, but you can grab it right now, exclusively on my first ever Dub pack vol 1… dm for details. #darkreddubs

proper_fest 2026 was pure vibes! This was the first year that sumo beatz hosted the dnb tent. Amazing day into the night. Big up to Phil, Tasha and all the team. Next year we do it all again. Early bird tickets on sale now.

Here’s another currently unreleased dirty slapper I made. I sampled an old childhood cartoon favourite for the intro on this one. This track should be getting a release on the next sumo beatz single from me out in September. #darkreddubs

Panacea has been doing the rounds last few months. It’s been getting battered by DJ Hazard and Bladerunner, amongst others. Watch out for it forthcoming on my next EP on co-lab recordings

Here’s a gritty martial arts steppa! This one has been battered by DJ Hype and Will feature exclusively on my first Dub pack out very soon. #darkreddubs

Code 3 was written and produced with a very good friend DJ pleasure and was our first release on Playaz way back in 2014! Come to think of it I think this was the first ever track we made together. It had great Support from the likes of DJ Hype, DJ Guv, Logan D and Majistrate amongst others. This…

My new EP is out now! Eyes of medusa has been doing the rounds for a while. Big shout to DJ Hype, DJ Hazard, Subzero, DJ Pleasure, Tyke, TC, Crystal Clear and all the other DJs that have been supporting 👁️🐍

The elusive moose knuckle VIP2 🫎🤛 the original track is one of my most popular ever releases. I get asked about this VIP2 quite a lot. I made it as a special just for my sets (back when I did the first VIP) to have something different to play. There’s no official plans of release on this one at…

Prison without walls. Another 2000’s jump up Dub. This is another one that will never get a general public release, however you can pick it up right now, exclusively on heist care package 34. DM for details. #darkreddubs
