In this Video, you will learn how to: • Sensor Unit Assembly: The Absolute AoA Sensor Unit is shipped fully assembled and sealed inside its protective box. This box is then mounted inside an aluminum mounting bracket. • Positioning the Bracket: The bracket can be secured to your aircraft's inspection plate using one or two small bolts and nuts. The location or orientation of the sensor unit is NOT critical to its function. • Connecting the Air Tubes: This is an absolutely critical step for accurate readings. Follow the color code on the decal sticker precisely to connect the three air tubes to their corresponding ports on the probe. Warning: If these tubes are connected incorrectly, all of your AoA indications will be wrong. Double-check the color coding. • Wire Interconnection: Interconnect the four wires bundled together and marked "Flap Scanner" (red, black, yellow, and white) coming out of the sensor unit to the corresponding wires coming from your Flap Scanner. This process ensures your Sensor Unit is correctly installed and ready to receive data from both the AoA Probe and the Flap Scanner for reliable operation.
