Most shirts try too hard. Loud graphics. Random designs. No direction. This isn’t that. Sakura Road was built to feel different. Something you notice without it trying to get your attention. Part of a full set. Not mass produced. Available now. Link in bio.

Japanese car scents have consistently been some of our best-selling products, whether we're at the mall, car shows, anime conventions, or through our online store. Yet many of these products are still surprisingly hard to find locally. As the official U.S. distributor of Treefrog, Diax, and My Shaldan, we've seen customers go out of their way to find their favorite scents, with many returning regularly to restock. Now imagine bringing that experience into your own business. Not just a few popular scents on the counter, but a dedicated section with a wide selection of authentic Japanese car scents. For an auto shop, detailing business, or retailer, it's an opportunity to become known for something beyond what you already offer. To reach new customers, encourage repeat visits, and give people another reason to discover your business. You're not just adding another product. You're expanding what your business can be. Build your Japanese Car Scents section with Import Crate Wholesale.

Introducing Guest Appearances on CrateOnScene. Models and cosplayers can now showcase their appearances, apply to events, and become part of an event's official lineup. Here's how it works: Your Appearances. All in One Place. Your fans and followers want to know where they'll see you next. But Instagram announcements eventually get buried under newer posts. With CrateOnScene, they can easily find your upcoming official appearances, past appearances, and community events you've attended—all from one public profile. Apply to Participate in Events. See an event you'd like to be part of? If the organizer is accepting Model/Cosplayer applications through CrateOnScene, you can apply directly and track your application status without having to reach out through DMs or emails. Become Part of the Official Lineup. Once confirmed by the organizer, your photo and profile appear in the event's Official Appearances section. Now people exploring the event can discover you, view your profile, and see where you'll be appearing. Keep Track of Every Event. Received an invitation from an organizer through CrateOnScene? Or applied to several events yourself? Keep track of invitations, pending applications, confirmations, and waitlists in one place. No more digging through scattered messages to figure out where things stand. Invitations are available through participating CrateOS Official Partner organizers. Part of the Bigger Event Picture. People don't always attend an event for just one attraction. They want to see which cars are participating, who's exhibiting, which brands are involved, and which models and cosplayers will be there. CrateOnScene brings these participants together on the event page, giving attendees more reasons to get excited, discover your profile, and look for you when they arrive. Because your presence doesn't just add to the event. It can also give someone another reason to attend. Guest Appearances is now live on CrateOnScene. We get asked about our car sponsorship program pretty often, especially about what it is, how it works, what sponsored drivers receive, and whether someone may qualify. It’s not always something we can fully explain when we’re in the middle of an event, so we put the full explanation in one place. Import Crate is the sponsor. CrateOnScene is the platform we use to manage and document the sponsorship. If you want the full details, including how drivers are considered and what the sponsorship includes, it’s all here: https://importcrate.com/pages/car-sponsorships If there’s anything you still want clarified, feel free to reach out.

We can only fit so much into a booth. And sometimes what you’re looking for isn’t what we happened to bring that day. Tokyo X Event Pickup is now open. Order by September 20 and pick up at Booth Q-7.

Fresh Box is one of those products customers return for once the scent begins running low—which means retailers need to keep it available. Our wholesale customers can now schedule Fresh Box Auto-Replenishment through our website instead of returning to place the same order manually each time. Choose your products and delivery schedule, and let the next replenishment take care of itself. #wholesaleb2b #b2bsales

At car shows, we’re usually asked for Subaru WRX designs more often than Mitsubishi Evos, so we normally don’t bring as many Evo posters. Then Anime NYC surprised us. We had enough people asking about Evos that we took note and brought more of them to San Japan. They sold better there too. Sometimes customers at one event help us prepare for the next one. #subaruwrx #lancerevo

There’s a reason many of our displays are white or acrylic. During our years at Stonebriar Centre, the mall had standards for the types of fixtures tenants could use. White and acrylic became part of how we presented our products—and we continued using that approach when we started building our convention booths. A neutral display keeps the setup clean and lets the products receive the attention.

A customer working at the booth across from us had been looking at one of our hats since San Japan started. When he finally came over to buy it, we had already sold out. We told him we would check the extra inventory at our hotel—and luckily, we found the exact one he wanted. We brought it back the next morning, and he finally got his hat. Sometimes a sale just has to wait overnight. 😂

We didn’t get to see much of the convention ourselves, but we got to spend the weekend meeting new people and catching up with customers who came back to see us. That ended up being our San Japan experience, and we wouldn’t trade it. #sanjapan #animeconvention

Back at San Japan for our third year. It was great seeing returning customers, introducing Import Crate to new people and bringing another side of Japanese culture back to San Antonio. We captured plenty of moments from behind the booth this year, along with a few changes we made after Anime NYC. We’ll be sharing those stories over the next several days. #sanjapan #animeconvention

Our first Anime NYC is officially in the books. Thank you, NYC, for welcoming Import Crate and trusting us with your special orders. Seeing people connect with our products in a brand-new market meant a lot to us. We got back, started processing everything right away, and the remaining special orders shipped out yesterday. Check your email for tracking. NYC, we appreciate you.

A look at Anime NYC before the doors opened. Driving into exhibitor load-in, getting checked in, unloading the van, and walking into our empty booth for the first time. Most people only see the finished booth once the convention opens. This is what it looked like getting Import Crate into the Javits Center before the weekend started. FROM TEXAS TO NEW YORK 🗽 Anime NYC is our first show outside Texas—and the first step toward bringing Import Crate to more cities. We brought what we’ve been building back home: Japanese car scents, the complete Treefrog collection, JDM artwork, apparel and accessories for people who connect with Japanese car culture. If you’re at Anime NYC, come experience Import Crate before we head back to Texas—and shop early for the best remaining selection. 📍 Import Crate — Booth 3002 🗺️ See our previous post for the simplified map. Tag or send this to someone going to Anime NYC. Then tell us which city Import Crate should visit next. #AnimeNYC #AnimeNYC2026 #ImportCrate #TexasToNYC #JDM

Another good moment from the Banana Weekend JDM Matcha Meet. One of the winners of the Import Crate × @CrateOnScene giveaway went home with three 18×24 Import Crate posters, an Import Crate shirt, and an Import Crate hat. And right alongside them, another lucky winner scored some Hot Wheels from Fu11mart. Congrats to the winners, and thanks to everyone who came out, entered the raffles, and spent the night with us. Thanks again to Banana Weekend Cafe for bringing everyone together.

The Banana Weekend JDM Matcha Meet was a great example of what can happen when businesses, automotive groups, and communities work together. @bananaweekendcafe brought everyone together for the night, with different businesses, groups, and members of the local car community each contributing to the experience in their own way. When everyone brings something to the table, different audiences, relationships, resources, and ideas can come together around one event — creating more value for everyone involved and introducing each other to communities they may not have reached on their own. Import Crate was glad to be one part of that collaboration, with CrateOnScene adding another layer by connecting the event with drivers and attendees before they arrived through event discovery, registration, and featured cars. Thank you to @bananaweekendcafe for bringing it all together, and to @supras.of.dfw, @spoiledwhips.us, @theabsolutewraps, @fu11mart and everyone who came out and contributed to the night. We’ve added more information about how Import Crate works with businesses and organizers at ImportCrate.com → Business Partnerships.

Supras of DFW showed up 16 cars deep at the Banana Weekend JDM Matcha Meet. gr_bluupra was one of the drivers who registered his car on CrateOnScene before Friday night. His Supra was featured on the event listing alongside some of the other registered cars. Then Supras of DFW rolled in with around 16 cars, filling out an impressive lineup and adding to the energy of the night. One advantage of registering your car on CrateOnScene before a meet is that your build becomes part of the event before you even arrive. Featured cars give everyone a preview of some of the builds they can expect to see and help connect the online event listing with the cars that actually show up. Huge thanks to Banana Weekend Cafe for bringing everyone together, and to Supras of DFW for coming out strong.

Chibi-style art takes something familiar and makes it smaller, exaggerated, and full of personality. Car culture has its own version too. You see it in tooned die-cast styles like Hot Wheels Tooned, Jada Toys Small Blocks, and CarTuned — where the proportions are pushed until the car almost feels like a character. That idea fits perfectly with kaido racer style. Kaido-style cars are already exaggerated in real life — low stance, wide fenders, deep wheels, stretched shapes, loud aero, big exhaust pipes, and a look that feels more expressive than normal street cars. So for our Kaido Racer RX-7 design, we pushed both ideas together: Chibi proportions. Kaido racer attitude. The headlights, stance, wheels, exhaust, and shape are exaggerated, but it still keeps the feeling of an FC RX-7. Available as a shirt and poster. Featured in our bio.
