* Audiobook Review *** Hard Carry  Written by JS Holloway  Narrated by Mike Frankland  Oooof! A tasty cyberpunk style power mission that hurled me back to Bladerunner and then boomeranged me into a dystopian future that would fit well in the Fifth Element. However, this does not even begin to…

When Fame Means Blood by @Sara Pucci Thriller Author The minute I saw the synopsis for this book I knew I could not get it soon enough. Thriller, check, Dystopian fiction? Oho check! Technothriller?? Take my money!! To say I had it read and digested within a week of getting it is an…

No Gods West of Here by Hanna Gaard is the perfect type of Romantasy in that it isn't your typical roantasy. Yes, it falls into the Romantasy genre, but, and this is a huge but, it has created an original and unique sub-genre (I am was thrilled, utterly thrilled to experience it) There is so much…

More than What Came Before is original, unique and for such a short novella, packs a heavy punch! Bewildered is the best word I can use for my first impressions of this book and in the very best way. How often can we say that we read something the likes of which we have not read before? I love…

ARC REVIEW - Some Rise by Sin by Siôn Scott-Wilson This book had me rapt with its gritty authenticity and in awe of the meticulous research Set in 1829 at the dawn of modern medical research, on the fringes of the practice where ethics do not reach, competition is fierce to become the most…

ARC REVIEW Her Silence by ST Ashman is an absolute belter that left me a dried out husk of my previous self I love a good thriller and this is the first book I have read from this author and by eckers it's blinding! Nicole had her daughter Lacey at 17, they're close. Lacey has a family of her own…

🐴 ARC REVIEW 🐴 📚 Emma's Equilibrium by Arvind Wadhera is a challenging read that chronicles the life of Emma, an aspiring equestrian Olympian whose blossoming career is marred by the most heinous of acts 🐎 Emma is 17 and has an outstanding equestrian ability, so much so, that she is selected to…

☀️ ARC REVIEW ☀️ Rising Out of the Darkness by Amanda Carnahan ⚜️ An epic fantasy that blew my mind, my heart and fractured my soul. OK, slight exaggeration, slight, but it certainly left an indelible mark ⚔️ The world building and tropes are all uniquely carved in respect of traditional and even…

Cover Reveal! (And it's a beaut!) 🧡 Addie Howell has perfected the art of holding it all together—until her anxiety-fueled sleep hallucinations rip her out of Manhattan and drop her into Threllwood, a realm teetering on the edge of destruction. ⚔️ Captured by a mysterious commander with too many…

Nothing Left but Silence by Laura Lo Sapio ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📚 This book is not in one of my regular genres, in fact, it is a genre that I usually avoid. But, as a GenXr with a deep passion for music, especially grunge and 90s alt, I was intrigued. If ever a book could change my opinion on the romance…
