The Heart God Created When you love someone, you pour out your heart. The same heart that the Lord created within you to give, to love, to understand, to hope, and to trust. You give without counting the cost, hoping that the love you offer will be cherished and protected. You open the deepest parts of your soul, allowing someone to see the beauty, the tenderness, and even the wounds you carry within. But love is not just about giving your heart away. It is also about understanding that your heart is precious to God. He created it with the capacity to love deeply, to forgive sincerely, and to hope even after disappointment. Sometimes, the people we love will not know how to handle the love we give them. Sometimes, they will hurt us, misunderstand us, or fail to return the love we deserve. But never let the pain someone causes you destroy the beautiful heart God gave you. Continue to love, but also learn to protect your peace. Continue to hope, but place your trust first in the Lord. Continue to forgive, because forgiveness frees your soul. For the heart God created in you was never meant to be filled with bitterness, hatred, or despair. It was created to love, to grow, and to reflect His goodness. And when your heart grows weary from loving others, remember that you can always return to the One who created it. Because the same God who gave you a heart to love is the One who can heal it when it breaks. ❤️

Dear Lord Jesus, Teach Me to Trust You Dear Lord Jesus, I come before You today, opening my heart and laying my fears, worries, and burdens at Your feet. As each day passes, I find myself saying that I have so much faith in You and that I trust You with all my heart. Yet, sometimes, when the storms of life come, they hit me with enormous tidal waves, pulling me beneath the surface until I feel as though I am drowning in the depths of the ocean. And in those moments, Lord, I realize that I still have so much to learn about trusting You. Teach me, Jesus, to have faith not only when the waters are calm, but also when the waves rise above my head. Teach me to trust You when I cannot see the shore, when I cannot understand what is happening, and when the weight of my circumstances makes it difficult to catch my breath. Remind me that faith does not mean I will never face a storm. Faith means knowing that I am never alone in the middle of one. Lord, I know that even when I sink beneath the waves, Your hand can reach me in the deepest waters. You can lift me out of the darkness, pull me close to Your loving heart, and remind me that I am still Your child. When my strength fails me, be my strength. When fear tries to overcome me, be my peace. When I begin to doubt, remind me of Your promises. And when I feel as though I am drowning, help me remember that I need only call upon Your name. Jesus, I don’t want to trust You only with my words. I want my faith to be reflected in my actions, my thoughts, and the way I live each day. I want to learn to surrender everything to You, even the things I desperately want to control. So, Lord, take my hand and teach me how to walk by faith, even when I cannot see the path ahead. I may not be able to stop the storms from coming, but with You, Jesus, I can learn not to be afraid of the waves. Because I know that no matter how deep the waters become, Your love reaches deeper still. I love You, Lord Jesus. I trust You, and I surrender my life into Your loving hands. In Your precious and holy name, Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen 🙏 One Bible verse that beautifully reflects your prayer is Matthew 14:30–31, when Peter began to sink in the water, cried out, “Lord, save me,” and Jesus immediately reached out His hand and caught him. Remember, faith isn't about never feeling afraid. It's about learning to reach for Jesus even when fear surrounds you. The same Lord you call upon in the calm can also be trusted in the storm. ❤ Marilu G

Standing for the Truth of God’s Word There comes a time when silence is no longer the way, When God’s truth must be spoken, no matter what they say. For how can we claim to walk in the light, Yet turn from His teachings and refuse what is right? You say you know Jesus, you say you know the Word, But are you living the teachings your heart has truly heard? You speak of forgiveness, of mercy, and grace, Yet hold on to bitterness, with pride upon your face. Be angry, and sin not, the Scriptures declare, Righteous anger stands for truth because the soul should care. Not anger born of hatred, nor vengeance in the heart, But a fire for God’s righteousness that will not fall apart. How can you sit in the church and lift your hands in praise, Yet refuse to forgive those who’ve hurt you in past days? How can you preach His goodness, then turn your heart away, From the very words of Jesus you profess to live each day? God sees beyond the surface, beyond the words we say, He knows the hidden motives we try to tuck away. For knowing all His Scriptures is not enough to do; The question is, dear Christian, are His words alive in you? So let us stand for righteousness, with courage, love, and grace, And never let hypocrisy take truth from its rightful place. Speak boldly, but with wisdom; correct, but do not hate, For God alone is Judge, and His judgment does not wait. I will not trade God’s truth for comfort or applause, Nor will I twist His teachings to defend my selfish cause. My anger will not rule me, nor pride become my guide; I’ll stand upon His promises with Jesus by my side. For righteous anger seeks the truth, not the power to condemn. It calls the heart to repentance and brings us back to Him. So, Christian, search your heart before you judge another’s ways. Are you living out the Word of God, or merely giving Him praise? For the Word that you profess to know must first transform your heart. True righteousness begins within, where God Himself must start.

Raindrops on My Car Window 🌧️ Raindrops are falling down my window, As I sit inside my car, Watching little rivers slowly run, Like tears from a heart that’s wandered far. The world outside is blurred with rain, And silence fills the air. My thoughts drift back to yesterday, To memories I still carry there. Each raindrop tells a story, Of love, of loss, of things gone by. And as the rain keeps falling, I watch the clouds move through the sky. Maybe rain can wash away the sorrow, Maybe it can help my heart renew. For even after the darkest clouds, The sun will shine again, and life begins anew. 🌧️❤ #rain

My beloved Jesus, I won’t let go of You, for You are my refuge, my strength, and my peace. Guide my thoughts, my actions, and every decision I make. Let my heart be aligned with Your will, and let my footsteps follow the path You have prepared for me. Your ways are greater than mine, and You see what my eyes cannot see. You know what lies ahead, even when I cannot understand what is happening today. When I become weary, strengthen me. When I become anxious, calm my heart. When I try to take control, remind me to surrender everything into Your loving hands. Give me the courage to release what I cannot change, the wisdom to accept what I do not understand, and the faith to trust You even when the road ahead is uncertain. Teach me to be still in Your presence, to listen for Your voice, and to wait patiently for Your perfect timing. Help me to love as You love, forgive as You forgive, and walk in truth, humility, and grace. Jesus, I surrender my plans, my worries, my dreams, and my future to You. I no longer want to lean on my own understanding, but to trust in Your divine wisdom. Whatever You have planned for me, let my heart be willing to receive it. Not my will, but Yours be done. I will hold on to You, Jesus, through every storm and every season. For even when I cannot see the way, I know I can place my trust in You. I am Yours, Lord, today, tomorrow, and always. With all my heart, all my love, and all my faith, Your loving daughter, Marilu

We all know that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. He loves us with an everlasting love. He created each and every one of us in His own image, and He has promised that one day He will come again, awakening the dead and bringing us into everlasting life. Until that day comes, let us humble ourselves, repent, and ask God to forgive us for our sins. His mercy and forgiveness are always available to those who turn their hearts toward Him. And just as we ask the Father to forgive us, we must also learn to forgive those who have hurt us—those who wounded us, broke our hearts, disappointed us, or caused us pain. Forgiveness does not mean that what happened was right, nor does it mean we must forget or return to situations that harmed us. It means releasing the burden of unforgiveness and placing justice in God’s hands. Jesus taught us to forgive, because we too ask the Father to forgive our trespasses. So let us choose forgiveness, even when it is difficult. Let us surrender the pain, the anger, and the wounds to God. May our hearts be free from hatred and filled with mercy. May we forgive as we have been forgiven, love as we have been loved, and walk each day in the light of Jesus Christ. Amen 🙏 By Marilu G

So Long Ago So long ago, I don't remember when, I lost my only friend, The one who knew my deepest thoughts, The one on whom I could depend. The years have passed, the seasons changed, Yet something feels undone. I search for you in memories, In shadows of the sun. I wonder where our laughter went, And why we said goodbye. I hold the pieces of the past And sometimes wonder why. Perhaps some friendships fade away, Like stars before the dawn. But deep inside, a part of me Still wonders where you've gone. So long ago, my friend, so long, Yet still your memory stays. Some people leave our lives behind, But never fade away. By Marilu G

Freedom I once lived behind a door I was too afraid to close, Carrying the weight of yesterday Everywhere my footsteps chose. I prayed through nights of silence, I cried where no one could see, Until God whispered to my heart, “Child, you were made to be free.” So I loosened every chain That tried to hold me down, I left behind the darkness And searched for holy ground. I am no longer who I was, Broken, lost, and afraid. The scars are part of my story, But they are not the life I’ve made. Now I lift my eyes toward heaven, And I breathe beneath the sky. I don’t have to fear tomorrow. I don’t have to ask God why. I forgive what I cannot change, I release what wasn’t mine, And I place my past in Jesus’ hands, Trusting His perfect time. I am a woman who survived, A daughter learning to believe, A soul that found its way back home— A heart that finally knows freedom. And if the wind should call my name, I will not turn around. I will spread my wings and follow God Where peace and love are found. For freedom isn’t running away— It’s knowing where you belong. And I belong in the hands of God, Where I have been all along. My Other Half, Sent by God For my other half, the man I believe God is preparing for me—I don’t want someone who simply says he is Christian or Catholic. I want a man whose life is truly aligned with God, whose heart seeks the will of our Father, and whose actions reflect his faith. I want a man who will lift me up when I am weak, encourage me when I am discouraged, pray with me, and walk beside me as we both grow closer to Jesus. Someone who can teach me the things I am desperately longing to understand, while also being humble enough to learn and grow with me. I don’t need to chase love or force what God has not placed before me. I will stand still and trust that God has everything under control. In His perfect timing, He will mold and prepare that beautiful man and bring our paths together. Until then, I will keep growing, praying, healing, and surrendering everything to God. Because when God writes the story, I don’t have to rush the pages. I only have to trust the Author. By Marilu G

Four Years and Counting It has been four years and counting since I finally had to leave my husband because of the abuse—mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. For years, I believed that if I stayed, he would change. I believed that maybe God would change him. I kept holding on, hoping that one day things would become different. But I was wrong. As the years passed, I became more and more drained. I was sick all the time. I couldn’t think clearly. I felt like I was losing pieces of myself. Living in that situation was exhausting, confusing, and painful. There were many times when I felt the Lord telling me to leave. But I didn’t listen. Even when I left before, I would eventually go back because I believed the love bombing was real love. I wanted to believe that the kindness, the promises, and the affection meant that things had finally changed. But it wasn’t the love I thought it was. Eventually, I reached a place where I said, “This is the end. This is it. Lord, help me.” And He heard me. God answered my prayer—not necessarily by changing the person I had been waiting for Him to change, but by giving me the strength to walk away. And here I am. Four years later, I am still healing. Some wounds take time. Some memories still hurt. There are still days when I struggle. Healing hasn’t meant that everything suddenly disappeared. But I am no longer where I was. Jesus Christ has been with me through it all. He has helped me find strength when I had none. He has given me peace when my mind was overwhelmed. He has reminded me that I am not alone. I thank Jesus for carrying me when I couldn’t carry myself. I thank Him for giving me the courage to finally let go. And I thank Him for reminding me that leaving abuse was not the end of my story. It was the beginning of my healing. I may still be healing, but I am free. I may still have scars, but I am standing. And I may still have difficult days, but I know where to turn. Jesus Christ is with me. And for that, I will forever be grateful. Marilu G

A poem for you all Hold on, don’t let go. Take my hand, Jesus, and guard me beneath Your mighty wings. When I try to rush ahead, when I become impatient and want everything to happen in my time, remind me that Your timing is greater than mine. Sometimes we miss the bus. Sometimes we miss the airplane. Sometimes we’re late for work or something doesn’t happen the way we planned. But maybe, Lord, there are moments when You see what we cannot see. Maybe the delay is protection. Maybe the closed door is mercy. Maybe the thing I thought was an inconvenience was actually Your hand guiding me away from something I didn’t know was coming. So teach me to stop rushing. Teach me to breathe. Teach me to surrender. I don’t need to understand everything to trust You. Take my hand, Jesus. Lead me where You want me to go. Cover me beneath Your wings, protect me from what I cannot see, and give me the patience to wait when You tell me, “Not yet.” I let go of my plans. I let go of my fear. I let go of my need to control tomorrow. And I place it all in Your hands. Because when I trust You, I know I am never walking alone. Hold on to me, Jesus, and teach me never to let go of You. #springlove #endlove Spring Love, Come Back to Me When spring comes softly through the trees, And warm winds dance across the breeze, I’ll listen for the sound of you, For love I thought I once outgrew. Come back to me like flowers bloom, Like sunlight chasing winter’s gloom. Come back with every gentle rain, And wash away the old heartache and pain. I never asked the stars for much, Only your heart, your warmth, your touch. And if the seasons turn once more, Maybe love will find my door. So, spring love, come back to me, Like waves returning to the sea. If our hearts were meant to be, Come find your way back home to me. And if you come, I’ll hold you near, Not with the hands of yesterday’s fear, But with a heart that learned to grow— A heart that finally learned to know: Some loves are lost, Some loves renew, And sometimes spring Brings love back to you. Last weekend I went to South Padre Island I was filled with compassion and so much love in seeing Gods creation. I talked to Him through my mind and He answered and wrote in the clouds Trust and a Big white heart 🤍 One of the most famous and comforting Bible verses about trusting God is Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. I love you Papa

Mark 11-24 This quote is from the Bible verse Mark 11:24, where Jesus tells His disciples that having faith means trusting God has already heard and answered their prayers. • Confident Trust: It means trusting God's character and promises before you see physical proof. • Past Tense Faith: The verse says believe you have received it, not just that you will receive it. • Actionable Faith: True belief changes how you live and act while you wait for the answer to appear. #believe #and #its #yours

Jesus cried and experienced extreme anguish in the Garden of Gethsemane because He was preparing to bear the weight of all human sin and face the judgment of God. The Cup of Suffering: Jesus prayed for "this cup" to pass from Him, which represented taking on the wrath and punishment meant for humanity. Spiritual Separation: As a holy being, the prospect of becoming sin and facing a temporary separation from God the Father caused profound emotional and spiritual shock. Physical and Mental Weight: His grief and pressure were so intense that he experienced hematidrosis, a rare medical condition where extreme stress causes capillaries to rupture and mix blood with sweat. Surrender to the Will of God: Despite His dread, Jesus ultimately submitted to the plan, praying, "Not my will, but yours be done". Repent Jesus Christ is coming soon.🙏

Did you know that we can also do wonders and miracles through the Holy Spirit? Yes we can BUT one has to be right with God and obey His commands ……. John 14-12 Jesus tells His disciples, "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." Mark 16-17-18 Jesus lists specific signs that will accompany those who believe, such as driving out demons, speaking in new tongues, healing the sick, and being protected from deadly hazards.

We all need to understand, know, and believe in our hearts that many things happen only through God and God alone. He blesses us, loves us unconditionally, and is always there, even when we cannot see what He is doing. Sometimes, we need to be mindful of the people we encounter and the kindness we show them. You never know when you may be entertaining angels, or when God may be using someone in your life to bring you a message, a blessing, or a reminder of His love. So always give honor and glory to God. Always bless His holy name. Trust Him with your heart, your desires, your needs, and your future. Call upon Him, and He will hear you. Seek Him, and He will guide you. Trust Him, and remember that you are never alone. God is there for you—always. Amen. By Marilu G

Time is a distance. It travels through moments, carrying us from one dimension to another. And as we move through it, everything changes. What once looked vivid begins to fade. Colors disappear. Shapes become unfamiliar. Memories lose their edges. Maybe time doesn’t simply move forward— maybe we move through time, crossing invisible spaces where nothing remains exactly as it was. And somewhere between one moment and the next, we become different, too. By Marilu G

No money? Trust in Jesus no job? Trust in Jesus everything that has happened in your life know that God knows it He knows everything it’s just a reminder that we are not alone in this He knows our situation let’s trust in Him and also let’s all forgive everyone who has wronged you no matter how painful it is still in your life… 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness". Psalm 103:12: "As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us". This shows how completely God takes our sins away. Isaiah 43:25: "I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more". This means God chooses not to hold your past against you. Isaiah 1:18: "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow". This shows God can wash away even the deepest mistakes. Micah 7:18: God does not stay angry forever because He "delighteth in mercy".
