Apologies for the delay! Some last-minute information and another look at campaign finance reports had me taking a little longer than expected (last filing was October 15th) My 2026 Nevada Voter Guide: Washoe County Edition These are my personal picks based on my own research, platform overview, conversations, and experiences with candidates throughout the primary and general. Not every race is included, and I've added a few extra shoutouts to candidates running outside Washoe County that l'Il also be watching closely. IMPORTANT ‼️ Including a candidate doesn't necessarily mean I'm formally endorsing them or agree with every position they hold. This guide reflects my personal overview and the information l've gathered. AS ALWAYS, I encourage everyone to research candidates, ask questions, and come to their own conclusions. Here’s my take for Nevada’s 2026 ballot measures & my reasoning: State: YES on 6 (abortion rights protected), NO on 7 (voter ID) Washoe County: NO on 1 (EV tax) To understand my thoughts on Question 6, research the “Moral Majority” and it’s history to today. It was always meant to be weaponized. Question 7, we already verify ID at registration. This is just adding more of nothing, wish something useful was here. Misplacing an ID is already a hassle in Nevada (especially when you have to during a cyberattack from personal experience). Shouldn’t cost your right to vote. For Washoe County, Question 1: NO on an EV tax. Multiple industrial centers and power users consuming far more resources and tear that will come through the county. EV owners shouldn’t have to pay extra for this, however this needs to be addressed at the state level. Hey just a quick question to @Team Lombardo since yall are so “tough on crime,” why does Mike Hagen @Mikehagenformayor feel so safe here to even run for ELKO MAYOR? Same with Troy Regas who has been a convicted drug dealer, yet no word about that. Interesting how Joe Lombardo can’t stand on anything important. This is why Nevada is one of the most corrupt states. I’m tired of people like this feeling empowered. We aren’t cracking down on real crime, just petty violations of people’s personal property, not the real corruption that takes place. All of us surveiled so these people can thrive. I don’t know how I’d sleep with myself at night if I was Joe Lombardo. We’re talking about an ex brothel manager whose brother-in-law owned and his brother was convicted for CSAM. There’s many stories from Storey County & the brothels that continue to be silenced. Troy Regas is running for Washoe County Commissioner District 3, and considering who he speaks highly, serious concerns. Regas has a federally documented cocaine-conspiracy conviction, an old brothel manager, and David Burgess his brother in law (owned the brothel) was convicted on offenses involving CSAM. I showed up to the TMRPA meeting yesterday because Storey County Commissioner Clay Mitchell was presenting on data centers, and I've had some serious unanswered questions about groundwater protections at the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center (TRIC), even just outside of data centers. Clay also sits on TRI-GID's Board of Trustees, yet our conversations have left me with more questions than answers about how drinking-water sources are protected across the industrial complex. I keep hearing conversations about how we're going to manage future growth at TRIC, but I'm still trying to get answers about how we're handling the infrastructure that's already there. To be VERY clear: I'm not claiming the groundwater supplying workers is contaminated. I'm asking how the groundwater supplying drinking water for workers (water fountains, showers, etc.) is protected from potential impacts associated with industrial wastewater treatment and storage. What's the notification system look like if it does become contaminated? Less than 2 hours before Reno’s data center moratorium vote on June 1st, 2026, Kathleen Taylor requested a meeting with reps from Centra, the company behind the Keystone Data Center. She was the only no in a 6-1 vote. I’m very curious, especially NOW that she’s tailored her campaign around stronger data center regulations… what happened at this meeting? I’ve never heard her discuss the meeting or its outcome, have you?
