Upgrading my TV area! What do we think?💡 There was a lot of controversy when I first put the LED lighting on the back of the TV…but I didn’t want to invest in the Philips Hue until I knew if I’d deffo use the backlighting, and I do! P.S - if you are considering buying the Philips Hue, just know, you also have to buy an additional item called a Hue Bridge (around £50) I learnt the hard way… it’s kind of mad you have to purchase this on top of the lights which are already an investment! 😮‍💨 P.p.s - so many people ask where the TV stand is from, it’s a universal One For All brand 😊 #interiordesign #tvsetup #tvstand #interiordecor #newhome #asmr #apartmentdecor #apartmenttherapy #philipshue

Welcome back to my home where absolutely nothing makes sense, but it all makes me happy… 1. You all went a little crazy when I shared this OBA soap…I get it, why have boring soap when you can have spherical soap! 2. I’ve got a thing for matchbox covers at the moment and this olive one is just brilliant 🫒 3. I’ve got a crazy amount of mugs/cups - so why not have a dedicated shelf to show them off, at the moment this one is exclusive for my Frizbee collection…maybe need a few more to fill the gabs 👀 4. The sink with a thousand questions - I’m still obsessed with this sink. And yes you can wash your face, and yes the water will go everywhere. Style over substance always! 5. I was looking for stool that was a little “different” so I asked Josh Page Studio to make me this ‘shocking’ one and I can safely say it’s perfect 👌 6. I love a moody interior and because this room gets sooooo much light, it felt safe to go a little crazy with the purple. Purple + yellow = 🤤 7. As someone who has done both the 9-5 life and not. I can confirm it’s not for me 😅 8. Utterly obsessed with this O.BTC collection, the glass finish is just amazing. Look at those swirls 🤩 9. I just love this brand, they have the best selection of colour combinations, you can really make something feel totally custom. It’s such an easy way to bring some personality into your home. 10. I’ve been collecting Studio Arhoj for years! I had to limit myself, but when I went to Copenhagen I went a little wild 🥴 11. This is your friendly reminder to get those photos out! I have a big box of Polaroids and instax, now I can walk past this magnet board everyday and smile. 12/13. AD - Welcome to my makeover series, where I’m travelling up and down the country with @Argos, helping transform spaces that are in need of a little makeover. 🔨🎨 This week I’m in Leicester, where local café owner Sarah took over this space 12 months ago but hasn’t had the chance to really put her stamp on it. The brief? It was really important to Sarah that we kept the community at the heart of the space - creating somewhere that feels relaxed and welcoming, while still being practical for all the variety of customers who use it. The motivation was LOW today - I find, if I give myself a couple of tasks to do…once I start checking them off my to-do list I get more motivation to keep going, then I the end I actually accomplish quite a bit. For the first time I’ve been able to do whatever I want to my home and I’ve had SO much fun! - not having to ask for permission or worry if I’d loose my security deposit, is really such a privilege. I always say taking care of my home is a form of self care. Tasking myself helps me switch my brain off! When I’m feeling anxious (all the time 🥴) or my brain is ‘busy’, cleaning gives me a physical task to focus on rather than sitting and looking at a screen… PLUS, the dopamine kick of ticking things off the to-do list?
