OPENING TOMORROW! Footloose Youth Edition @Mountain Movers Theatre

“there’s no shadow you won’t light up, mountain you won’t climb up, coming after me.” getting baptized is something special. it’s unequivocally literally washing away the anger, unforgiveness, shame, church hurt, bitterness, the unloveable, guilt and heavy parts of you. BUT…. getting baptized while your children help baptize you, your praying friends help baptize you, and then you get to turn around and watch your baby climb in a different feeling that literally makes me ugly cry. those that are close to me know i’m not a cryer, sadly the only emotion i can show is anger. but since i looked up and said “i’m tired of running” three weeks ago, that’s all i’ve done is cry. “you’re glowing, you do look different.” yea i got right with the Lord and i don’t feel tired and aggravated all the time anymore. it’s realizing that God didn’t make Bentley sick, he didn’t make my dad sick, and he isn’t punishing me by taking the people who i thought would always be by my side away from me. he’s giving Bentley a testimony, he healed my Daddy, and he heard conversations at tables that i didn’t. is it gonna be easy, goodness no. do i still loose my cool and feel my head turning on it’s axis, yep happened week before last. but then i did something i definitely wouldn’t have done, i apologized. and old jerica would have told you to get over it, you deserved it. but Jesus himself flipped some tables too.😂 but in all seriousness, life is so much lighter now. and to walk this path with my babies, family, all of my church families, and friends (old and new) is a journey i’m so excited for. change is a good thing, and Jesus in your life is the best change you could make! #jesus #newagain #baptismsunday #newmom #godlyfriends
