✨ I FINALLY DID IT. 😂 You guys have been asking me for a full-length coloring process video for forever, and I kept putting it off because I knew exactly how much work it was going to be to edit my entire process. 😂 I've been giving you little pieces of it through Reels, but there was only so much I could cram into a 30–60 second video without basically speed-running the entire coloring page. So I finally sat down and filmed the whole thing. 🥹 This is a chill, no-voiceover, start-to-finish look at how I actually build one of my mixed-media pages, from the initial marker layers all the way through the acrylics, watercolor pencils, gel pens, pastels, highlights, and of course… an unnecessary amount of sparkle. 😂✨ I actually used to LOVE making videos when I was younger. Middle/high school me was making anime music videos, YouTube tutorials, and whatever other random videos I could think of. I even went through a makeup-video era as an adult, although that was quite a while ago and I was considerably younger then. 😂 Apparently I had forgotten just how freaking long video editing takes. I've already learned a bunch that should make the next one faster, so I would love to do more of these eventually; but I'm also a mom, a teacher, and perpetually running on approximately 14% battery, so I'm going to be selective about which coloring projects get the full-length treatment. 😂 I also decided not to do a voiceover because I spend basically my entire workday talking. I teach homeschool teenagers online, record lessons, and live on Zoom calls. Sometimes when I sit down to color, I just want to shut the hell up and make pretty things. 😂 Anyway… it's finally here. ❤️ If you've been waiting to see what actually goes into these ridiculous little coloring pages of mine, this one's for you. 🥹✨ Watch the full process on YouTube. link in bio and going on my stories too #coloringtutorial #coloringcommunity #colortok #cozycoloring #colorwithme

You guys have been asking HOW I get all this glitter onto my coloring pages… so here’s the actual process 😂✨ I randomly found these glitter/sequins in Dollar Tree while walking through the aisle, stopped on the spot, threw them in my cart, and immediately knew what I was going to try with them. 😂 For this page from the @KPop Demon Hunters Netflix Deluxe Coloring Book by Random House Books, I use craft glue + a Q-tip to apply a thin layer exactly where I want the sparkle, then add the glitter/sequins and clean up the excess. And NOPE, I don’t seal it. 😂 I just close the book and accept that glitter will eventually escape. My favorite color besides pink is glitter and neon, so honestly… glitter all over my coloring supplies and house is just the price of admission. 😂✨ I knew going in that I was going to be finding glitter around for the rest of my life. Worth it. 😂 #col#coloringtutoriall#coloringtechniquel#coloringbooku#adultcoloringloringcommunity

My alcohol markers aren’t done yet 👀 I’ve been loving using my @Hippie Crafter LLC watercolor pencils over my alcohol marker base to add extra shading and vibrancy. 🎨 I put the pencil where I want it, then use a damp Q-tip to activate it. The Q-tip gives me SO much control for those tiny areas! I love being able to keep layering instead of feeling like the marker base is the end of the page. 😂 Page from Cozy Whimsy Girls by @studiobrielle_ 💕 Would you try this technique?! #coloringtok #coloringhack #coloringtips #coloringtutorial #cozycoloringbook

Everyone kept asking how I do my underwater lighting effects 🌊✨ so here’s the tutorial version 👀 This page is from Goddesses and Witches by Jinebri for our underwater themed group colour roulette 💙 I focused mostly on the layered alcohol marker gradients in this reel, but I also filmed my crystal effect and mermaid tail process if you guys want more fantasy coloring tutorials ✨🐚 #adultcoloring #coloringtutorial #markerart #ohuhumarkers #cozycoloring

Soft pastel glow hack ✨ This is one of my new favorite ways to add dreamy lighting to coloring pages without expensive supplies. Yellow + white pastels can completely transform a scene and add easy, breezy lighting effects without fighting blending with acrylics or alcohol markers. These are literally just some @kingartcompany soft pastels from Walmart for $5 or less. 🫶🏻 Save for your next glow page! @KINGART - Art Supplies 💛 #coloringtips #cozycoloring #adultcoloring #coloringtutorial #coloringcommunity

One of my favorite ways to finish a page. After alcohol markers, I like adding watercolor pencils for gentle shadings and texture, especially for skin tones and fabric. It’s a really forgiving way to add depth without risking the page getting overworked. Dragon scales, but I’m not counting a single one 🐉✨ Layering + “random but strategic” placement = instant depth. #alcoholmarkers #acrylicmarkers #coloringtutorial #colortok #dragons
