I got the Latino hoarding gene and it shows 😩 I have a habit of “saving” nice things I buy for special occasions instead of “wasting” them on regular days, just to end up wasting them anyway when they inevitably go bad, expire, or break. Now I’m trying to be more mindful of that by actually using…

And I don’t even usually mind people recording but don’t get me started on the people slowing the line down to get their perfect shot or to record everyyyyything 😭 Express was sold out so we did 2pm day/night combo and it was so worth it plus great bang for buck! #hhn #halloweenhorrornights…

Such a cute fun event to raise awareness for an important cause 📚Knowledge is power and we live in a time where they’re trying to take that away by limiting diversity of thoughts, ideas, experiences etc. 😣 #bannedbooks #publiclibrary #community #knowledgeispower #latinacreator

Can’t believe this was already 2 years ago 😭 Growing up my parents really only had time and mental space for working and taking care of us, and never explored their own interests or hobbies, so I love giving experiences like this 🥹🥹 #onthisday #immigrantparents #healing #growingupmexican…

anything to add a little whimsy and break up the monotony of adult life 🥲 growing up with immigrant parents meant seeing them work all day and come home too tired to do anything else. I’m grateful to have the privilege now to live beyond survival mode and explore my interests, and figure out what…

If you grew up with immigrant parents you know the struggle — they’ve given up everything, so if you speak out at all you’re “ungrateful” or malagradecida
It took me a long time to learn that all the work and sacrifices our parents make don’t equal a free-for-all on how they speak to you or treat…
