Just Checking In | 10/24/26 CONSISTENCY Sometimes showing up isn’t about feelings. It’s about keeping a promise. And sometimes the hardest part isn’t keeping a promise. It’s dealing with the disappointment when someone else doesn’t keep theirs. But here’s where self-reflection becomes necessary. Are feelings determining faithfulness? Is consistency being expected from others without demonstrating that same consistency? Commitment requires accountability. Relationships require reciprocity. And consistency requires more than good intentions. Feelings may fluctuate, but a commitment shouldn’t change with every emotion. And keeping a promise doesn’t mean abandoning healthy boundaries. It means understanding the difference between a difficult moment and a reason to walk away. Because ultimately, it’s not just about keeping promises to people. Look honestly at your thoughts, choices, patterns, and your part in the problem. Growth requires accountability. 2. SECRETS — Release Them. Secrets keep us afraid. There is freedom in honesty, and you don’t have to keep hiding. Find the courage to tell the truth. 3. SAVIOR — Receive Him. You weren’t designed to do life alone. God is your help, and He can connect you with people who will love, challenge, encourage, and walk alongside you. Romans 10:9–10 Now, let me tell you about my BFF. My womb friend! 💗 She’s one of the most complex friendships I’ve ever experienced and one of the most purposeful and meaningful. We’ve had to do the work: take inventory, be honest, and make room for God in the equation. Through it all, we’ve built a friendship that has withstood the test of time. Because here’s what I’ve learned: You can’t fully experience that kind of friendship without freedom. And that brings me to the value of SISTERHOOD. Sometimes, when sisters POUR… Pouring Out Urself Really Sucks! (sometimes) Because being vulnerable, honest, and accountable isn’t always comfortable. But when sisters POUR… Pouring Out Understanding is a Requirement. 💕 We don’t always have to agree. We don’t always have to get it right. But we do have to make room for truth, understanding, and growth. Freedom doesn’t mean we’ve finished the work. HE finished the work. We’re learning to live in it. We encourage one another, speak life, and make room for each other to grow. Grateful for my new Sis and the beauty of purposeful connection. 💕 Sometimes you’re pouring. Sometimes you’re receiving. Just Checking In — 9/23/2026 ☀️ Sunshine I’m not gray or blue. I actually see the sun shining through, breaking through clouds, bursting through the doubts, because sunshine appears whenever I’m around. It’s a frown turned upside down. It’s a reason to smile when I didn’t know I needed one. It’s laughter, love, a timely word, and people who make an ordinary day feel brighter. Today I’m thinking about the people who have brought sunshine into my life. Some have been with me for years. Some showed up for a season.
