Nail techs, THIS is why one cuticle prep routine doesn’t fit every client! 👀 Different skin types need different tools and techniques. Here’s how I’d approach this prep: 🖤 Pro Lift Bit Large Medium Grit – speed of 7-15,000 RPM. Helps lift and separate non living cuticle from the nail plate. 🖤 Tiny Cuticle Ball Medium Grit – speed of 12,000 RPM. Refines small areas of suitable dry, non living skin and lifts up and opens up the side walls. 🖤 Curved Cuticle Scissors – Precisely trim lifted, non-living tissue where needed. 🖤 Large Polishing Ball Medium Grit - speed of 5-10,000 RPM. Smooths and refines the surrounding dry skin after lifting and trimming. 🖤 Lucy Large Bit Coarse Grit – speed of 7-10,000 ROM. Refines and smoothes any remaining hard skin.
